Officially Yours

Who knew paperwork could be this mountainous, Jason thought as he threw another one of Octavian's "helpful" suggestions in the trash bin. He'd been working in his office for three hours and it was torture. Normally, Piper would help him around but she oddly wasn't around. Fifteen more minutes passed before he heard a thud in the window and a stone landed on his desk.

"What now?" Jason groaned as he walked over to his window. He soon brightened up because he saw Piper staring up at him. She was wearing a white sweater, black jacket, jeans, and boots. She had her hair in a braid and to Jason, she looked like an absolute angel. She was holding his sign saying, "Wanna go out?

Jason quickly grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled. "BUSY!" He held up the sign as he shrugged. She frowned and cocked her head to the looks cute, Jason thought. She wrote something and then flipped the paper. "Just an hour, please?" It said. Jason couldn't resist. He grabbed his pen and wrote a "YES" all too happily. He held the sign as he watched Piper smile at him. He dropped the paper and went out of his cluttered office. He bounded down the stairs and passed Reyna.

"Hey, Jason, can I talk to you?" She asked. "Not now, Rey. Picnic with Pipes." He sidestepped Reyna and barely heard her say. "But-"Jason opened the entrance doors.

"Finally." Piper says, half-annoyed and half-excited as she grabs his hand and they sit down on a mat. They eat lunch and relax. Piper's head is soon on Jason's lap and Jason is playing around with her hair.

"Hey, Pipes." Jason asks tentatively.

"Mmmm…" She replied as she closed her eyes, half-asleep already.

"Would you be my girlfriend?" He said.

That woke Piper up. She opened her eyes and said, "I thought we were."

"I just wanted to make it official." Jason smiles down at her as she reaches up and ruffles his hair.

"Your paperwork's gone to your head, Sparky." They stare into each other's eyes and Piper smirks.

"Is that a yes?" Jason says, fully knowing the answer already. His electric blue eyes shone like the sky.

"Yes, Sparky." She says, getting up and facing him so that their foreheads touched. "I will officially be your girlfriend." She wrapped her arms around his neck and all of a sudden it starts to rain.

"Aahh.." Piper tilts her head back.

"I should probably head back." Jason stands up.

Piper then grabs his hands, smiles, and pulls him into the rain. "As your official girlfriend, I want you to dance in the rain with me." But they don't really dance. They just sway back and forth with their arms around each other. At least for five minutes. But by then they're soaking wet and happy. And that's all that matters.
