"Benoit Family Found Dead"

Wait? What? Rewind! Did I just read that right? "Benoit Family Found Dead" I guess I did read that right.

I still stared at the screen in disbelief. Was this another storyline? Was the WWE really going to say that one of the most beloved wrestlers in the company and his family were dead to boost ratings? Turns out, it wasn't a storyline. It was reality. Chris Benoit really was dead.

It's so weird. I've seen Chris wrestle three times now, the most recent being 2 weeks ago at the WWE Draft. It hasn't sunk in that I won't see him step into a wrestling ring again. I won't hear the crowd chanting "Benoit" anymore. I won't hear the roar of the crowd when he comes down the ramp.

The show must go on, though. I think that's what Chris would have wanted.

He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Rabid Wolverine. Your fans all love you and you will be missed.
