Here is a special Jerlita (Jeremie x Aelita) poem coming at you from yours truly. I title this one, "The Art of Love."

Enjoy! Comments/suggestions please, they help inspire me to create new work...

The skies turned dark with night,

Over the quiet campus grounds,

But while everyone left for the holiday weekend,

Two teens decided to stick around,

The two were great friends,

Both shy and naïve,

Yet both shared a bond like no other,

A bond no one in his or her right mind would believe,

He was her protector, her guardian, her savior,

She was his dream, his beauty, his vision of loveliness,

Both knew how they felt for one another deep down,

Yet both were unsure how to admit their feelings so limitless,

As he typed away furiously,

More determined than ever,

After nearly five years spent together,

She realized it was now or never,

"J… Jeremie," she said shyly as she took his hand,

"Yeah Aelita?" he replied with scarlet cheeks,

The two just stared at each other for about a minute,

But to them, it felt more like weeks,

Her heart rate began to soar,

Practically flying out of her chest,

His mind went racing,

His body temperature rising to its hottest,

She began to let him know just how she felt,

With all her heart and soul,

He returned her love for him by saying,

"When I'm with you, I feel completely whole,"

Finally, with tears forming in her eyes,

She said with strength only God could bestow,

"Jeremie, I… I love you," she said,

Just like that, the boy's emotions began to overflow,

"I love you too Aelita," he replied,

"I always have and I always will,"

Finally, a "formal" proclamation of love,

Though the journey to get there, provided the ultimate thrill,

So where to go from there,

Both seemed clueless as how to proceed,

Till he put his hand to her cheek and kissed her,

Did she respond by kissing him back… she did indeed,

As the two stood in the light of the moon,

Coming into his dorm room,

The two let themselves give into their passion,

With their relationship now in full bloom,

As the two separated for air,

Both felt a chill run down their spines,

Letting them know that even now,

Their souls were intertwined,

So the two fell back on his bed, and slowly drifted off to sleep,

Both filled with a sense of happiness so affluent,

At last both Jeremie and Aelita truly knew,

What the art of love truly meant.
