Seto stood leaning against the kitchen door frame as he watched Jou and Mokuba play some random game that they had thought up after a winner had been found from the previous game. In his hand was a cup of coffee.
Now, one might ask why he was leaning against the door frame watching Jou and Mokuba play a game with a cup of coffee in his hand. Well, as Seto would put it, it was the mutt's fault. Oh yes, it was –Kaiba turned and looked at the clock, a small growl escaping his lips before turning to look back at the two- oh yes, it was now just reaching four-thirty.. in the morning. Oh yes, Jou had woken him at two a clock, exclaiming that he had to come and be the referee between him and Mokuba.
Kaiba was used to that, but something like this was not allow on his only day off. Yes, it was a Sunday and he had planned on spending it sleeping in longer then five in the morning. But no, Jou had decided that he wanted to do this. He wasn't exactly sure why, but he had.
Stupid puppy dog eyes Kaiba thought grimly to himself. Yes, if Jou hadn't used his infamous puppy eyes, Kaiba would have still been happily asleep, but oh no, he just had too. Shaking his head, he took a mouthful of his coffee, cringing slightly as it had gone cold. This was his fourth coffee in a matter of an hour. It was the only thing that was keeping him up.
When a small whimper was heard, Kaiba looked over to see that Jou was pouting –as normal when he lost- and Mokuba was smirking from where he sat. Kaiba looked over at Jou and shook his head at the sad look on his face.
"You're the one that decided to play against him. He is my brother after all."
With that said, Kaiba placed his coffee down on the table, knowing one of the maids would clean it before heading too his room to get sleep. Right now he didn't care if Jou wanted to play more, he needed the sleep. He could hear the footsteps behind him and the soft call of his name, but he simply ignored it. He was mad at him!
After stripping back down to his boxers, he climbed back into bed. It was only a few moments later that he felt the bed shift and a body press themselves against him.
"Jou... I'm still mad at you. Go to sleep."
A soft whimper was heard him the other body before Kaiba felt kisses being trailed up his chest and neck. He could feel his eyes slowly shutting themselves from the pleasure.
"Jou… sleep."
A small chuckle was heard from the other body before a soft kiss was placed on his lips. Said other body then curled up against Kaiba's chest and proceeded to fall asleep. Kaiba wrapped an arm around his waist as he closed his eyes awaiting sleep. It was only a few minutes later that Kaiba's eyes shot open and he shoved Jou out of bed.
"Couch. You. Sleep. Now."
Snickering only came from the other person as they made their way out of the room.
"Have a good sleep Seto."
Picking up the closets thing to him – a book- he chucked it at the door, but it was already closed. A growl emitted from Kaiba. Thanks to all that coffee, he was now wide awake and unable to fall asleep.
Something that Kaiba just learnt;
Pay-back sucked
And
Jou was sleeping on the couch for the next month.
Although he knew that wouldn't really be the case. He'd be back in the same bed by the end of the day.
It's been a while since I wrote something. This has no meaning and it probably makes no sense but it randomly came to mind. And, going with what someone once said, it doesn't end sad. Just funny... somewhat. Sort of? I guess? Eh, oh well, I tried.
