Nor Gaara or Kankuro can break dance, but they THINK they can….
So, one day Gaara went home feeling like he accomplished a lot that day, but he still needed one more thing to accomplish today. But despite that, he went home.
He walked through the door. Kankuro was on the couch reading "How to Break Dance for Dummies". Gaara chuckled, and then realized, this could be his last accomplishment of the day. Winning at a break dancing showdown with Kankaro.
"Hey Kankuro…" Gaara began, "I bet I could beat you in a break dancing showdown," he taunted. Kankuro turned his head to him slowly.
"As IF," he bragged, "I've been practicing ALL DAY! No one can beat me!"
"HA! We'll just see about THAT!!" Gaara said defensively.
What they did was they both invited their friends and girlfriends and they lay out a cardboard box that had been flattened in the front yard. Once everyone was there, they turned on the "boom box".
Kankuro was first, so he got on the box and began to do the Running Man. As everyone watched in horror, he flopped down on his side and attempted to spin. It didn't work.
"Assistance please," he said.
Two of his friends stepped from the crowd. One took his legs and one took his head and they moved in a circle, spinning him. They finished and stepped back again.
Kankuro then tried his sad attempt at a headstand. Instead, it turned out to be a summersault. He finished with landing on his side with his hand propping his head up and his legs crossed in the air. People tried to clap but there were only a few, and it lasted for about five seconds.
Then it was Gaara's turn. He got on the box and began with back flip and then did the robot in slow motion. He then went down on his stomach and did the worm. Continuing, he hopped back on his feet, spun around and landed with his feet tilted back
He got a long clap.
Not really, he sucked as bad as Kankuro. Gaara had attempted to do all those things, but he fell every time he attempted it.
And guard stepped out of the crowd. He looked around at the crowd and walked in between Gaara and Kanuaro.
"The winner is…" The crowd waited anxiously. "Kankuro!" he shouted, and held Kanuaros arm up.
Gaaras mouth dropped to the ground and his eyes bulged.
"Squeeze me??" Gaara asked in disbelief?
The guard nodded as Gaara stomped back into the house. Never again was he going to break dance.
