Chapter One
I always thought I was an ordinary person living an ordinary life but I was wrong. I mean believing that and then finding you are wrong is like cold water waking you up from your dream. Seriously I feel that all the time lately. Fate hates me.
Here I am waiting for the sun to rise and hopefully warm up the cold crisp air. This day could go well or not. I hate bad days it means I am grumpy and can't concentrate at all. If it's a good day it means I have fun.
You are probably thinking who is this crazy girl. Well here is my introduction. Call me Emily and that is all you need to know about my name. I am not perfect but others think I am. So what I excel at gymnastics but still top of the class in maths, English, Chemistry and Human Biology. Everything I do must be my best and no sloppy work.
I am in my final year and many have said I have choices of what I want to do when I graduate from school. This year I was going finally going to get rid of the nasty voices of my classmates or should I say ex-classmates. They were like seagulls following food. It is normally the students who look weak that get bullied but when they bully I am ignore them because it means I don't give them power.
Time Skip: I am officially a graduate from Hernsey College. Now my next step in life is my university while still doing my routine for gymnastics. I have followed that routine but little did I know my next step in life is going to turn my life around.
I had a plan that before I started university I was going to travel to a new country such as India and trek through the Himalayas. In my mind I am thinking let's do something crazy so that's what I planned and my parents were supportive of me to go and do something different.
My flights booked and my bags packed and I was so ready to get out of this country. Finally, the day came when I touched down in India and now I was riding a bus to the Himalayas where I will set up my base camp. I couldn't wait to start walking and I even brought my taste camera to take pictures of any interesting wildlife.
I travelled following a trail up and kept on going up until I reach the snowy caps of the Himalayas. When nightfall came I decided that I needed to mind a small like cave that keep me warm from the harsh wind. As soon as that thought crossed my mind I spotted one and I made sure that I was not invading some animal's home. Thanking my lucky stars, it was empty so I set up a fire and my sleeping bag. After eating a canned soup, I settled down to sleep for the night and prayed that nothing can come and hurt me.
I woke up to blinking at the pure whiteness snow I saw outside of the cave.
