Hey guys! I hope you're all having an awesome summer if you're on vacation yet, and if not, hang in there for the final stretch. Anyway, to celebrate my first week of summer, I'm going to be doing a little something called Swimmer's Week of Summer One Shots. I hope you all enjoy, and here's the first one going all the way back to the basics of summer.

Wu opened the freezer and smiled. Perfect. There were still six drumsticks left. He pulled one out and devoured the silky chocolate and caramel mix. Delicious. They would most certainly have to buy these again.

Half an hour later, six ninja came bursting into the kitchen worn out and sweaty from training.

"That workout stunk!"

"Not as badly as you do Kai!"

"Not funny Jay!"

"Uh, Jay's right. You need a shower. BADLY!" Lloyd said putting emphasis on that last word.

"Uh guys," Zane started, "we have a major dilemma."

"What could possibly be wrong?" Cole demanded.

"There's six of us and only five drumsticks left," Zane replied and set the box on the counter.

"That can't be right. There were six, I checked earlier," Jay scratched his head.

Lloyd looked around the room as if he were searching for an explanation for this, "did anyone eat one of them?"

The others shook their heads.

"Well, clearly I should get one of them since I worked the hardest today," Kai smirked.

Jay shook his head again, "no way."

"I've got an idea. How about we go on the training course again and whoever has the worst time doesn't get the ice cream?" Lloyd suggested.

"I'm in," Nya agreed.

The others nodded.

"Okay then it's settled. Top five get the ice cream."

Once outdoors, Kai was given the pleasure of going first. Lloyd hit the stopwatch and it was on. Over the planks, across the swords, look out for the dummy! Kai finished in a five- thirty two. The order after that went Cole, Jay, Zane, Nya, Lloyd, and they all gleefully destroyed Kai's time.

"That settles that," Lloyd sighed as the ninja 're entered the Bounty.

Kai frowned, "that was unfair. I want a rematch!"

"Not a chance Kai," Nya replied.

"Clearly someone wasn't taking into consideration that I'm lightning fast!"

"Really Jay?" Cole rolled his eyes.

Once the ninja had entered the kitchen however, they realized the mistake they had made.

No longer were there five drumsticks. All that remained was the box that had sat on the counter too long and turned all the cones to soup.

Hope you all enjoyed! Question time!

Who else is on summer vacation now?

Has anyone ever done this before? I haven't but a few years ago, I accidentally put the cereal in the fridge, and the milk in the pantry. Oops.

What plans do you all have this summer? I have swim, writing, and I might be camping for a week, I'm not sure.

Who else is a fan of drumstick cones?

Sorry to all you Kai fans. It's not that i don't like Kai, it's that really like to torture him. Bye everyone!
