So this is a little different for me, but overall I like it. You know what I like more? Reviews, hint hint. :)
"The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference" Elie Wiesel.
"I hate you", she told him bluntly.
"No you don't"
"What do you mean, 'no I don't?'"
"Well, exactly what I said."
Pause.
"Why can't you just face the facts Jacob, people don't want you. Bella never wanted you, she was always going to choose him, and I don't want you, because I hate you"
"I don't really care if you hate me, Leah."
Silence.
"I don't care because I'm not going anywhere. I'm in this for the long hall, even though you're a nightmare and I hate you sometimes. Most of the time actually. How do you think this is for me, huh? I seem to be prone to falling for girls who want someone else. But it's not happening again. You're not going to leave me, I can see it in your face. If you really didn't want me, you wouldn't be telling me you hated me. Because at least hate is a feeling, it means you feel something for me. Numb. That's how you would feel if you didn't want me, indifferent. I'm not soppy Leah, I won't list the reasons why. I'm not Sam, I'm sure as hell not Edward Cullen, but I love you" he emphasized those last words, sounding more desperate, "got it?"
More silence.
He walked away to let her mull that one over, feeling a slight satisfaction as he did. He knew he'd won that one. She'd open her eyes sooner or later. As he walked, he heard a slight mumble, "got it."
