Hello! Welcome to my story! This will be my first ever story so please don't complain about how bad it is! It's really short too ;-;
Anyway, this will be HoennShipping if you didn't know :) Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon. Unfortunately.
There he was, standing outside her doorway, with beautiful- yet typical- red roses in his hands. It was Valentine's Day, the day he had promised to confess to her. But what was he supposed to do? Barge in and say: 'Happy Valentine's Day!' And confess? It wasen't that simple- and he knew it. He would always say stupid things infront of her and stutter at every word. It's not like he could controle it, he would if he could. But he couldn't- And May was the only one that ever gave the 15 year-old this weird reaction.
As he was still wondering if he should leave, the sound of a squeaking door caught his attention- and he snapped back to reality.
"Brendan?" She asked innocently, tilting her head a bit. "What's up.. Um.." She stared silently at the roses he was holding and pointed to the healthy plants. "Are those for me?"
He just stood there, staring at her, and she sweatdropped. May was far too used to his stuttering, but it never came to the point that he would be silent like this. So, she stayed silent too, waiting patiently for an answer.
Brendan just stood there, sweating way too much, and shaking his whole body in utter embarrasment. He couldn't get himself to speak, but after about a minute of silence, he managed to spit it out: "Y-yes.." At the answer, he facepalmed. At this point he was already blushing madly; and he couldn't speak. 'Great, just great.' He thought. 'She probably thinks I'm an idiot now...'
He could hear her giggle, and the pleasant sound rang through his ears. She took the wrapped roses and entered her house without another word.
'Dammit, Brendan! You messed up! Again...' As he was getting ready to leave, he heard the door open once more.
"They look great, Brendan! Thank you! And you really didn't have to dress up like this.." She pointed to the tuxedo he was wearing, and he immediately blushed more, if that was even possible; He already looked like a tomato.
"Hehe..." He simply laughed it off, like he always did. "Well, um, I.. Better go now!" It was pointless. She would never like someone like him anyway. He turned around to leave but felt her hand grab his wrist. Her skin was as soft as silk...
"W-wait!" It was her turn to stutter. What, why was she stuttering? She never stuttered. He was always the one to stutter when he was near her. His thoughts stopped as he felt her lips touch his own. It was only about two seconds, but it felt like an eternity to him. He didn't even see it coming. She moved away from him and said the three words he was there to say: "Happy Valentine's Day!" And shut the door.
And he was left there, stuttering, like he always did.
I hope you liked reading it! It was super fun to make! Pretty short, but then again it was my first fanfiction ever :) Please R&R!
