She had never met a more stubborn or more pompous ass. It was like he was gifted or something. Or well…gifted in something other than I.Q. points. Everything was just so "troublesome" to him. It was pointless, he couldn't be bargained with. Ino never being the quitting type, decided this was one argument she would not lose. Unfortunately Shikamaru was equally determined.
"Shikamaru, just take the medicine already!" yelled Ino.
"No…it's troublesome." replied Shikamaru calmly before exploding into a coughing fit.
"Take it NOW!" yelled Ino once again.
Turning on his side away from her, so he could see her, he began to try to sleep. Wondering how the hell she got into his damn apartment anyway. And if he knew she would have been this troublesome to deal with he'd have run home to his own bossy mother…at least Ma made him soup.
He turned to look at Ino as he felt weight shift onto the bed and saw Ino crawling towards him.
"Ughh." growled Shikamaru as she plopped down on his chest.
"Shika will you please take your medicine, for me." she whispered seductively dragging her finger across his lips and down his bare shirt.
A grunt was his only response…pshh like she could bribe him with sex.
"No."
"Shikamaru stop being so difficult." sighed the blond shin obi.
Finally giving up and understanding that she would have to resort to trickery, Ino grabbed the bottle of liquid antibiotics and took a shot of the medicine, as if it was tequila or sake. Then forcefully grabbing his head and shoving his mouth open with her fingers before spitting the medicine from her mouth into his.
"Swallow it ,Shika." said Ino throwing her hands over his mouth to prevent him from spitting it out.
When she was sure that he had swallowed it she released her hands.
"Now that wasn't so bad, was it sweetie?" said Ino in a voice that most people would only use if talking to a child or maybe a pet.
"Ino you and your medicine's so troublesome."
"I love you too." replied Ino before kissing the tip of Shikamaru's nose.
"Fine troublesome woman I love you too."
