HF62: Okay so here's some Cronus x Mituna fluff. I'm sorry about it being short but this was the first thing that came into my head so I just went with it. So this is boyxboy fluff and I do not own Homestuck or any of it's characters, Andrew Hussie owns them. So please enjoy this fic :3

Cronus watched as Mituna walked by, he could never get over his red feelings for him but he knew that if he was to tell him now Mituna would probably just shout some incoherent shit...Cronus clenched his fist; he hated this. He hated seeing a broken shell of his former best friend walk past him...he hated the fact that he was still flushed for him, Gog only knows how many times he had tried to forget about his feelings but whenever he saw Mituna pass him his feelings would reignite. But most of all he hated how he hadn't been there for the mustard bloodied troll. At those thoughts a single tear forced itself from his tear duct and rolled down his cheek. Cronus let out a weak chuckle as he wiped away the stray tear.

He took a deep breath, composed himself and plastered a forced smile on his face as he walked over to Mituna, giving said troll a wave. "Hey, chief." Mituna jumped at the greeting and tried to make an escape before Cronus had the chance to get any closer. However, to no avail as just as he was about to break into a mad dash Cronus grabbed his arm and threw the confused troll, back against the wall and he was pinned against the wall by the enraged taller troll. "Vwhat's your problem?! Vwhy can't you remember me, remember vwhat vwe vwere?!" At this point Cronus was rambling, his voice raised, and he knew that poor Mituna probably didn't even understand any of it, but he just couldn't stop. Tears streamed down his face as he looked into Mituna's eyes. "C'mon, please tell me that you can at least remember SOMETHING..." His voice was pleading and he was desperate for an answer. But there was no response after a moment Cronus noticed tears cascading down the other's face, but it was strange as Mituna wore his usual confused expression. The same expression he had every day when talking with Cronus, and yet this time he was crying, it was almost as if something else was forcing the tears out.

All of the anger and frustration left Cronus' face and was replaced with a concerned look. "Hey are you okay, chief?" The troll took off Mituna's helmet and wiped his hair out of his eyes and began wiping away the tears, he sighed. "Look, chief, I'm sorry." He then let out a small, weak chuckle. "You probably don't understand what I was saying and I'm sorry for confusing you this much. I'll leave you alone now." With that Cronus pushed himself away from the wall and began walking away, but as he turned to leave he felt a hand wrap around his wrist, preventing him from leaving. The taller troll turned around and his eyes widened as he saw that Mituna had grabbed him. "Em, chief, what are you doin'?"

There was a short pause and then finally Mituna spoke. "Cronus. I am so sorry for leaving you behind...but please; when I forget again, do not stop this...you were my best friend and even though I had forgotten you, and I am about to do so again, know that you were the best moilrail that I could have ever asked for..." Cronus blinked, dumbfounded as he had no idea how to react. Instead of words Cronus dared to look up and into Mituna's eyes. The light and airy feeling of happiness hit Cronus, then the heavy feelings of sadness washed over him as he saw the same spark that the old Mituna used to have. That was all that Cronus needed to see as he pulled Mituna into a desperate embrace, tears streamed down his face once more and fell onto the other's shoulder. "Please don't forget me again! I've miss this so much. I've missed you so much, don't leave me again."

In hearing Cronus' desperate words Mituna returned the tight embrace with his own as he sobbed into his chest. "I'm tho thorry, Cronuth."

"I never got to tell you how I really felt for you."

Mituna gently pushed Cronus away, holding him at arms-length, a sad smile on his face as the tears still rolled down his cheeks. "Then tell me now." After saying that Mituna looked straight into Cronus' watery eyes.

Cronus took a deep, shaky, breath. "I could never tell you this when we were alive because you were with Latula, and back then I only wanted you to be happy so I never said anything. But considering that you're going to forget this conversation anyway..." He paused as he fought with himself, trying to decide whether or not to tell the smaller and after a few seconds he had steeled his resolve and slowly opened his mouth. "Mituna Captor I'm flushed for you. I always have been and being forced to see you like this makes me sad and angry."

Mituna smirked. "Took you long enough athhole." And with that Mituna pulled down on Cronus' top, making their lips meet. The kiss itself wasn't particularly heated or passionate but rather soft and gentle a confirmation of their feelings. When they parted Cronus' face showed his confusion at Mituna's actions. "I could never tell you how I felt when we were alive because I wath with Latula, but Cronuth I'm flushed for you."

Cronus blushed and hid his face in the crook of Mituna's neck, nipping at the tender flesh which earned him a surprised gasp from the yellow blooded troll. "I know that you won't remember this so I have to mark my territory now while you're this complacent." Mituna giggled but did not stop him otherwise. "Mituna be mine please."

...

There was no answer so Cronus looked up and saw the spark in Mituna's disappear and then it was fully gone leaving Cronus with the normal confused Mituna but he wasn't fighting off like usual. Cronus peered into the troll's face and what he saw shocked him. Mituna was blushing, hard. He was panting and he didn't even make a move to get away from Cronus, whose waist his arms were still wrapped around and also who had him pinned to the wall. Instead of trying to move his hands from Cronus' waist he tightened his hold and stared up into Conrus' eyes, his gaze dazed and it was as if he wasn't even really all there yet.

Cronus let out a small cough, hoping to get Mituna's attention, his cheeks slightly flushed a hue of indigo. "Yo, chief. You're going to have to let go of me or else Latula might see this." Still nothing happened. But Mituna blinked and his eyes finally focused on him. Cronus braced himself for the other's normal reaction of shouting nonsense. However, instead of shouting some profanities at him Mituna looked round and then pulled Cronus down into a kiss. At first Cronus was taken aback by the action but then slowly relaxed into the kiss. When they separated for air Cronus cupped Mituna's cheek and stroked the skin with his thumb. He was slightly surprised when the other troll nuzzled into the touch. Cronus paused savouring the moment, but he knew that he was going to have to ask the dreaded question and that it was better to get it over and done with while letting go was a little bit easier. "What about your matesprit?" His voice was quiet and soft, as he hoped that Mituna hadn't heard him, but he knew that said troll had.

Mituna took a moment as he tried to find the words that he watned to say and figured out how he wanted to say them. "Tula will underthtand...I wnat...I wnt..." He stopped, getting frustrated with himself. He took some deep breaths and opened his mouth, taking the time needed to get the words out. "I. Want. You. To. Be my matethprit...Cronuth."

It took a few seconds for what Mituna had just said to sink in and when it did it Cronus' expression lit up as a beautiful smile played on his lips and he knew that he was now the happiest dead troll ever, tears of joy rolled down his face as he held tightly onto Mituna. "Thank you Mituna. Thank you."

The curly haired troll gave a soft smile as he petted Cronus' head and gently placed a kiss on his black locks. He opened his mouth to say something, but then decided against it, opting to just enjoy the warm embrace.
