Forever
I stare into his eyes and try to imagine what I could have done to deserve such happiness. He stands facing me, his gaze never leaving mine and we barely here the words being spoken. All we know is that we are here, together and it all feels so natural and so right. For the first time in my life, I am where I am supposed to be, doing what I am supposed to be doing. My mind is clear and I hear none of the usual jumble of thoughts, questioning and doubting. He's mine and I am his and everything is as it should be.
We speak the words we are required to, but it is unnecessary. All we need is to look into each other's eyes and know that this love is forever and nothing can ever break it.
Our friends and family are cheering, but still all I can see is him, my love, my darling James and I know that whatever fate holds for us, we will face it together and I will never be without him again, until the end.
