DISCLAIMER: I don't own Inuyasha, though it would rock if I did.

I was sitting in my bedroom about to paint my finger nails when a familiar red blur jumped into my window.

"Inuyasha, what are you doing here?" I asked him surprisingly.

"Hey, Kagome, That's a nice way to greet people. I'm here to bring ya back, what else?" He said crossing his arms.

"I can't go back yet!" I told him.

I was sitting with my knees against my chest, cleaning off my finger nails before applying paint - shard hunting never kept my hands descent, especially when there was a demon nearby.

"WHAT! WHY NOT!" He exploded at me.

"I have to do my nails first." I said blowing at the tips.

"Huh?"

"I have to paint them. It'll take about ten minutes."

"I ain't waitin' that long, lets go." He said grabbing my arm.

"I'm staying here! It will only take ten minutes, if you don't believe me you can wait in the corner until I'm done."

"Fine." He grumbled as he let go of my arm and went to sit down.

"Good boy!" I said triumphantly.

"Would you knock it off!" He growled as he slumped onto the floor.

I dug into my my makeup bag and took out a palish rose-pink color. I set it on the floor and put a towel down and layed across it.

"What are you doing?" He asked staring at me.

"I'm making sure I don't get any nail polish on the floor."

"Nail polish?"

"It's like paint for your nails." I explained to him.

"Oh."

I twisted off the cap and began on my right hand. Five minutes later I was humming as I painted my left hand.

THUMP! I jumped at the noise.

"Inuyasha, you made me mess up." I complained as I reached for a piece of paper towel.

No answer.

I looked up and started laughing; there in the corner was a fainted Inuyasha. I got up and walked over to him.

"Inuyasha, wake up!" I said shaking him.

"Mmmmmm," He mumbled as he sat up and instantly covered his nose. "That stuff stinks!"

"Why didn't you say anything?" I demanded.

"I didn't want to leave." He said with a faint blush across his nose.

"Well you could have said something, I would've put it away." I said quietly, feeling my face redden.

"Feh." He said as he stood up and walked over too where I was sitting and picked up a plastic container.

"Whats this?" He asked shaking it.

"Don't open it that's my-"

THUMP!

He fell half onto my bed and half onto the floor. I grabbed the bottle before he could spill anymore and put the cap back on. I picked up the soaked towel and put it in the hamper and walked back to my room. I looked at Inuyasha and laughed; only he could faint on the spot at the scent of nail polish remover.
