The two destructive jutsus clashed, causing the surrounding environment to be swept with intense shockwaves as the 2 people try to overpower the other. Ironically the 2 people trying to kill each other are actually friends. Well, an unusual pair of friends that is.
As the jutsus destabilize, a colossal explosion occurs, reducing any surrounding objects to rubble instantly.
Naruto couldn't believe it. He failed. He knew that he might have to kill Sasuke for him to stop yet he couldn't just kill the only person he ever considered to be his brother in all things. That small moment of hesitation is what caused him to slightly reduce the strength of his Rasengan, causing the Chidori to plow through and pierce him a few inches above his heart.
"This feels like a nightmare I would want to wake up from", Naruto said.
He sees Sasuke above him ready to kill him with a kunai in his hand.
"If this were a nightmare, then you better be ready to wake up dobe", Sasuke said.
As Sasuke plunges the kunai downwards, Naruto doesn't know why but when he hears those 2 words "wake up", his entire vision is starting to brighten up. That constant phrase is repeatingly getting louder and louder.
Wake up!

His eyes flash open, carefully analyzing his surroundings, he suddenly notices a person above him, an annoyed expression on her beautiful face.
"I swear Naruto, you should start sleeping earlier 'cause it's getting annoying trying to wake you late for breakfast 'ttebane", Kushina said.
Naruto's eyes open up with tears as his mouth opens up to say a word that he has always thought to be a stranger all his life.
