For as long as she could remember, Chloe Wolowitz has had night terrors so bad they sometimes left her to afraid to sleep. There were nights when her mother would hold her close, stroking her hair and telling her stories until she fell asleep. And when she did, Bernadette would fall asleep right next to her, just in case she woke up. One night, her night terrors became real as she was kidnapped.

It was an ordinary Saturday. Chloe had a dance competition, won first for most of her numbers, and hung out with her best friends, Maddie and Paige. When it was time for bed, like always, Bernadette climbed under the covers with her. Chloe laid her head on Bernadette, and Bernadette kissed her forehead.

"Do you remember when you were four and you had a really bad case of the flu?" Bernadette asked.

Chloe nodded. "How could I forget? I was throwing up every half hour."

Bernadette smiled. "You were. Then I remember how happy we all were when you started throwing up only every hour."

Chloe giggled. "Yeah." She yawned and drifted off to sleep. A few minutes later, Bernadette was asleep too.

About an hour later, Bernadette woke up to a loud noise. She figured Chloe was awake.

"It's okay Chlo." But when she went to stroke her hair, she realized she was gone. She freaked out. "HOWIE!" She yelled.

Howard, her husband, rushed in. "What is it?"

"Chloe's gone!" She panicked.

"Where is she?" He asked.

"I don't know! We both fell asleep and the next thing I know, she's gone!"

Howard hugged his wife. "It's okay, Bernie. We'll find her." He took out his phone. "I'll call the guys. You call Penny and Amy."

Bernadette nodded. "Ok."

There was a knock on the door. "Bernadette and Howard. Bernadette and Howard." It was Sheldon.

"Come in!" Howard called.

Sheldon, Amy, Maddie, Leonard, Penny, Paige, Raj, and Emily all rushed in.

"What happened?" Penny asked. "Where'd she go?"

"We don't know! We think someone kidnapped her." Bernadette said.

"I'll call the police." Leonard took out his phone and dialed 911.

"Who? And why?" Amy questioned.

"You expect me to know that?" Howard replied.

Maddie and Paige glanced out the window and saw something. Or, someone, rather. "Hey! Look!" They motioned everyone else over to the window.

"Is that Chloe?" Penny asked.

Bernadette nodded. They all rushed outside to see her. When they got to her, she was passed out, covered in blood. Her left leg and right arm were both extremely swollen.

"Chloe?" Bernadette shook her lightly. "Chloe!"

Chloe groaned and opened her eyes. When she saw her mother, she smiled. Her mother picked her up and held her close.

"Oh thank God you're okay. I love you so much baby girl." Bernadette said, kissing her daughter's forehead. She didn't care if she was covered in blood. She was just relieved that her little girl was safe.
