Aftermath: A New Future

a Samurai Jack fanfiction

by LDEJRuff

Long ago in a distant land, Aku, the shapeshifting master of darkness, Unleased an unspeakable evil. But a brave samurai warrior, wielding a magic sword, step forth to oppose him.

Before the final blow was struck, Aku tore open a portal in time and flung the Samurai into the future, where his evil was law.

However, the Samurai, named Jack, sought to return to the past, and along the way, made some new friends and allies. Eventually, he had help in the form of a legitimate daughter of Aku, Ashi, who created a time portal of her own to send Jack back to the past, where he finally destroyed Aku, thus undoing the future Aku has created. But what became of the future?

There was still a city of dogs, Rothschild included. With Aku finally destroyed, there was no sorrow. All was at peace.

The Immucandi warriors led by Linor were still prideful, and brave. They relied on Linor to lead them, and had their own people to take care of.

The Village of Wollies was never invaded by the Crichillites, and still believed in peace.

The Monkey Man, who, thanks to Jack, was never enslaved by Aku's robot minions, lived a city life, but still learned to "jump good".

The Blind Archers were never blinded by the wishing well of King Ozric, which never existed, but still shot arrows pretty well, especially during archery practice.

The Triseraquins never had their oceanic city sunk to the bottom of the sea, and made peace with the land dwellers.

The Scotsman was never handicapped, and lived on with his wife and many, many daughters, who made lives of their own and got married.

Max and the Andromedan robots were peaceful with the organic life forms, and built machinery for them, especially for buildings.

Olivia and the Ravers still made pretty good music, and even danced.

The Guardian of Time lived on as well, but kept his existence a secret.

As for Ashi, who ceased to exist due to Aku being destroyed, she and her sisters were incarnated...as descendants of Jack, and kept his legacy alive, as a new generation of samurai warriors.
