Summary : Petra couldn't understand why the hell Auruo kept imitating Captain Levi so much.
It was infuriating ,really. He kept blabbing and blabbing with his poor attempt of imitating Captain Levi again.He would continue doing so until he cut his tongue again.
"Auruo,stop trying to be like Levi already. It's getting boring you know."
"Petra dear,I know you want to be my wife so badly."-he said with his cocky attitude again.
"Me,your wife ??Dream on,Auruo."
"You two stop it already,we're going back to HQ right now."-Levi said already fed up with their arguing.
"H-hai Captain Levi."-they both saluted and went back to their horses.
Back at HQ
Everyone of The Special Ops squad except Auruo was sat at the wooden table to eat dinner. Each of them had gathered around the table and were eating silently.Erd was the first one to break the silence.
"Well,it's rather really quite in here."-he said shoving a half potato into his mouth.
"Yeah I wonder why."-Gunther agreed,also busy finishing his own meal.
"Without Auruo around of course it gets really quite."-Petra laughed.
Levi remained silent ,listening to their loud chatter. Better staying here than getting my hands full with paperwork. He thought.On the other hand Petra was thinking why the hell Auruo wasn't showing up .It wasn't like him missing dinner.Surely something had happened.
After what seemed like 10 minutes Auruo still hadn't showed himself .Now Petra was sure something had happened.Not wanting to ambush herself with negative thoughts she got up.
"I'm going to have a look at Auruo.Maybe he cut his tongue and needs to be patched up."
Leaving the table and going through the big halls of the HQ she headed off to Auruo's room leaving everyone at the dining room.
Levi himself was actually surprised he hadn't thought that something as trivial for Auruo as skipping dinner would worry her.After all,she was always arguing even about the smallest things with him. Pushing the thought aside he also got up and went to see what the matter was.
The sun had just set and now the HQ seemed darker.With the small candle light Petra made her way to Auruo's room and knocked twice.
"Auruo it's me ,Petra .Can I come in?"
Receiving a soft 'Come in' from him she opened the door.
"Something wrong Auruo?You missed dinner."
He said nothing, unfolding a letter and giving it to Petra. Scanning the letter and giving it a quick reading her eyes opened widely.
"I'm sorry Auruo.I hope your sister gets well soon and maybe I can come with you too . It's been forever since I meet your family and my dad too . It's good our houses are near each other.-she tried to lighten the mood.
"Of course that would be a great idea. I'll go tomorrow to get permission from the Captain.Thanks for this Petra."-Auruo said,offering her a big smile.
From outside the room Levi was listening carefully.He had to admit he was kind of jealous . Although Petra and Auruo were always at their constant bickering they shared a strong bond together.They had grown together and shared so many memories.This was something he couldn't do with her.It made him think that maybe Petra was better off with Auruo.He was a great guy with the best qualities that someone could have,if he stopped imitating Levi so much and not to mention he was younger. More over Levi knew for a fact that Auruo loved Petra.
The next morning
"Captain,I'm here to make a request sir."-Auruo saluted with respect.
"I'm listening."
"I'd like to get permission for both me and Petra to go to Karanesse since my sister has been ill,sir."
"You may go Auruo.Hope your sister gets well soon."
"Thanks Captain."-he saluted.Just as he was about to leave the room he heard Levi's voice again.
"Can you call Petra for me Auruo."-he said his icy glare not leaving the pile of paperwork standing in his desk.
"Of course Captain."
Some moments later Petra entered his office ,curious as to why he had called her.
"Captain Levi sir."-she saluted.
"Relax Petra. Take a sit.I wanted to talk to you about Auruo.You to seemed to get along."
Now she understood.Levi was being jealous of Auruo.How ridiculous!
"We do sometimes. When he isn't imitating you that is."
When he wasn't saying anything Petra decided to speak again.
"Are you jealous Levi?"-she said amused.
"No,of course not."-he said writing harder on the piece of paper.
"Well that's good than because I have eyes only for you."-she said giving him a quick peck on the cheek leaving him stunned.
