Chapter 1
One afternoon in Stars Hollow around Thanksgiving time Lorelai walks into the diner.
''mmm smells good in here.'' Lorelai says
''thank you Lorelai. Katherine says wiping down the counter behind the counter
''that's because Will is making his famous Blueberry,apple cinnamon,blueberry cranberry,and pumpkin pie's.'' Katherine tells her
''mmm sounds great, hey .'' Lorelai says and sees him cooking in the kitchen
''hey baby how are you?'' he asks her
''good.'' Lorelai tells him and sees Luke come over to her
''Oh, hey, Luke.'' she says and smiles and kisses him
Luke leans over the counter and kisses her back ''mmm.'' he moans softly against her lips and pulls away ''how are you?'' he asks her
''good baby.'' she tells him
''good.'' he says
''Lorelai, will you be joining us for Thanksgiving this year? '' Katherine asks him
''yes mam Richard and Emily will be out of town this year and if and as long as Luke wants me too sure.'' she tells Katherine
''yea I do.'' Luke says
''good, then it's a date then.'' Lorelai says and smiles
''so baby how is that fancy school of yours?'' Katherine asks her
''it's fine. It's gonna get me to where I need it to get me to Yale.'' Lorelai tells her
''that's good.'' Katherine says
''yea.'' Lorelai says
Luke smiles
''you've picked a great girl here Lucas.'' Katherine says
''he sure did.'' Lorelai says and smiles
''Lucas can you whip up some whipped cream here for me baby?'' Katherine asks him
''yea sure mom.'' Luke says and goes to do it
Lorelai sits at the counter and watches him.
