Harry Potter was a peculiar boy, that much we could say. When he had first arrived at Barnaby's Mental Institution, he was still a small child, not yet eleven. He had suffered years of abuse, not only from his parents, but also his aunt and uncle.

They had deducted that when Harry's mother was pregnant with him, she was heavily involved in drugs, leading to multiple defects in the boy. His father, strung out on meth, killed his wife and then himself. It was a few days before anyone found the malnourished body of the one year old.

Even then, no one cared for the infant. He was dumped on his aunt, his mother's sister. He wasn't treated well there at all, either. Until, nine years later he was dumped here at Barnabys.

Growing up, he talked a lot of nonsense about witchcraft and how he was a wizard. He talked about a school named 'Hogwarts,' how Hagrid, the gamekeeper, took him to an mostly underground bank manned by goblins. He told tales of how he befriended fellow patients, of how Dr Quirrell had some guy named Voldemort in the back of his head who was after the sorcerers stone, which was actually the kickball that belonged to the mutt, Fluffy, outside.

When he was twelve, he told us how the new doctor here was insane, and a fraud. That's when other students started getting hurt. Claiming it was a basilisk, he nearly killed another girl here. The youngest out of seven that was housed in these walls, but, their parents didn't care.

When he was almost 14, he claimed that two older men, Mr Lupin and Mr Black tried to kill him, but the rat had gotten away. He started talking about Voldemort more and more these days. The following summer, he nearly drowned Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley, claiming he was in a wizard's task.

None of the treatments were helping him, he was crazed and delusional. As the years passed, Sirius Black went missing; they found his body in a cave with a peculiar archway. We all know he did it, but, there was no proof to indict him.

He eventually coerced a fellow patient into killing the warden by pushing him out an open window; Harry claimed he was Dumbledore. But, that was just here-say, no one believed us that he was responsible.

Eventually, during a party we had held for the patients, that included movies and snacks, Harry was found dead. He had to have slipped off sometime during the film. They had found a letter on his bed, concluding his event's at Hogwarts. He had killed Voldemort, he had killed himself. He had written how the world would be cleansed of the evil, that if he didn't make it, all would be fine. He would be with his family again.

Maybe now the child would be at peace. Us nurses all knew we would be. No more unexplained bodies, no more missing patients. Hopefully, all would be well at Barnaby's now that he was gone.
