This one is short, but I was wondering how life would be if the two brothers didn't hate each other. What if they both showed that they loved each other, if they both actually did love each other? What if Sesshomaru shared some kind of affection toward Inuyasha? (It's possible that deep deep way way way deep down he cares a little bit for his brother. just a smidge) Well this is my version of what it'd be like.
Inuyasha have been running for miles, when Inuyasha stops and sniffs the air. He looks up, and sees Sesshomaru standing at the edge of the cliff. He smiles biggly at Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru looks expressionless but if you look closely at Sesshomaru's eyes you can see how happy he is to see his brother.
"It's been a while, little brother." he says
"Sesshomaru." chimes Inuyasha
"Little brother? So that's your big brother, Inuyasha?" asks Kagome
"Yeah." says Inuyasha
"Inuyasha! Are you going to stand there or come up here? Or do I have to come down?" asks Sesshomaru
"Ah, right. Sorry Nii-san,." says Inuyasha
Sesshomaru hops all the way down, and rubs the top of Inuyasha. Inuyasha closes his eyes and smiles at this show of affection from his brother. Sesshomaru frowns, and takes his free hand out in a striking position, green light shows through.
"Inuyasha, I'm sorry, I need you're black pearl in your eye. Please bare with the pain, just for a little bit." says Sesshomaru
Before Inuyasha can answer, Sesshomaru reaches into Inuyasha's eye and takes the black pearl from Inuyasha's eye. Inuyasha backs away, holding his eye, and yells in pain. Sesshomaru tosses the pearl to Jaken. Jaken gets a hold of the pearl.
"Jaken, if you drop that. I'll kill you." he says
"Eep, yes my lord, I'll guard it with my life." says Jaken
Sesshomaru rushes to Inuyasha's side, and holds Inuyasha's wrist so Inuyasha can't move. Inuyasha starts yelling at Sesshomaru, and moves his head the whole time Sesshomaru tries to remove Inuyasha's hand from his eye.
"Inuyasha, stop this. Let me see." says Sesshomaru
"But.." says Inuyasha
"Relax, I'm not going to touch it, I want to see the damage." reassures Sesshomaru
Reluctantly Inuyasha removes his hand, and opens his eye slowly. Sesshomaru looks over Inuyasha's eye. Then he sighs with relief.
"You'll be fine. Just wipe that blood away." says Sesshomaru
"Sesshomaru" says Inuyasha
Sesshomaru pats his brothers head again. He releases Inuyasha's hand, and turns around. Without another word to Inuyasha, he walks past Jaken and walks further off.
"Jaken let's go, we have what we came for." he says
He continues walking knowing the imp would follow him.
