Chapter 3;
Rollan knocked softly on Abeke's door. No sound came from within. He sighed. He knew she would not be in her room but it was worth a try. It was dawn and Rollan had been woken up by Shane asking if he and Abeke could meet him on the deck after breakfast. Rollan volunteered to fetch her. He needed an excuse to talk to her. This morning Shane seemed really tense and down business. He would next try the deck. Usually she would go there saying she needed fresh air but he knew the real reason. Uraza hated boats but her favourite spot was the deck. As he walked up to the deck he saw Abeke there. He walked behind her then stopped next to her right side. "Shane said he wanted to talk to us both up here after breakfast" he said. He knew she had heard him but for some reason she was really stiff. "What's wrong " he asked with concern. She snapped out of her trance, sighed then spoke " Where do you think they are right now" she said in a curios tone. I replied with honesty " I have no idea". Then they both went back to looking into the horizon before going down to breakfast.
