Be Careful What You Wish For
The sound of the slamming door reverberated through the condominium that Kagome and Sesshomaru owned.
"What now?" Kagome rolled her eyes, and poured herself a bit of coffee, then and turned towards where Sesshomaru walked in.
Sesshomaru walked towards her, looking as if he was about to choke her, then stopped and glared at Kagome, with a tense jaw and eyes spitting fire.
"Wow, Sesshomaru, what a surprise!! I was expecting you for later, what ha-"Kagome said, after a few sips of coffee.
"Don't play innocent with this Sesshomaru, Kagome. Why is this vile creature in my home?!!" Sesshomaru all but snarled at Kagome, eyes flashing red.
Kagome smirked behind her coffee mug as she took another sip. She glanced at the so-called vile creature that was hanging from his fist.
"Sesshomaru, we already went over this. We decided since you couldn't stand another dog in our home that I would have to get some other pet and we would give him away to Sango. Remember? That was when Skippermaru licked my nose after we got home from our honeymoon at Costa Rica." Kagome said, finishing her coffee.
"Yes, this Sesshomaru remembers saying so, but this Sesshomaru expected a goldfish, or a bird at least, not a-"
"Mew. Mew." Kagome started laughing as her new kitten started licking Sesshomaru's hand. Sesshomaru froze, then started growling, his eyes started swirling red and gold.
"Aww…Sesshomaru, she likes you."
