Even over the breakfast table, Rude hidden behind a newspaper and Reno pouring beer into his cheerios, he can't stand that Rude would rather look at words inked on a page than him.
"Oi, partner...you shoulda seen the chick I almost brought home last night. Fuckin' hottie."
Rude has had plenty of time to hone his skill in ignoring Reno, and this morning is no different than any other. He continues reading his paper, his fingers turning black from the ink.
"Ended up doin' her in the bathroom. Got kicked outta the bar." Reno smirks, but his face falls when he finds that Rude is still, somehow, more interested in the news.
"I don't think I'll see her again though, yo."
Rude turns the page, paper rustling in the silence of the kitchen.
Reno sits, silent for once in his life, eating cereal, moving his spoon from bowl to mouth automatically.
He doesn't like being ignored, but when it's Rude, there's nothing to do but wait.
