Rogue was depressed.
Remy had been avoiding her for days.
She had talked to Kitty.
But Kitty had just grinned.
As she trudged down the hallway.
She accidentally ran into Remy as he left his room.
She muttered apologies and began to walk past him.
He grabbed her wrist.
Spun her around.
And slipped a small diamond ring onto her gloved finger.
"Will you marry me?"
Tears filled her eyes.
She threw her arms around his neck.
The tears ran freely down her cheeks.
She whispered in his ear.
"Stupid Swamp Rat. A' course ahl marry ya."
He grabbed her hand again.
She smiled happily, wiping away tears with the other hand.
Then they walked back down the hallway.
Hand in hand.
To tell the others the great news.
