After
telling the Sheriff about what had happened with Tess and her killing Alex,
Michael, Maria, Max, Liz and Isobel all went to the Crashdown. Kyle stayed behind with his dad to try and
explain his part in the death of Alex (he was innocent of any wrong doing
because Tess had also brain warped him.)
Maria and Michael sat in a booth, Max and Isobel sat in another while
Liz sat at the counter.
"Max,
how could she kill Alex, what makes a person/alien do a thing like that?" "I don't know Is, I just don't know." Max
had other things on his mind foremost his son.
Michael
sat with Maria, he had just made the biggest choice of his life, he chose to
stay with the person he loved the most in the universe MARIA. Maria couldn't believe he had stayed for
her, who needs words of love, when actions speak louder than any words could
ever say.
It
was getting late, Isobel just wanted to go home she wanted to sleep and dream
of her Alex, she hoped he would come to her in her dreams.
Max
walks up to Liz at the counter, "Is and I are going to go home now, maybe later
I could come back and we could talk about what happened before I left for the
pod chamber…." "Shhhh we don't need to
talk about it now lwts just take one day at a time okay." "Okay" Max reaches up to smooth a stray hair
from her face and gently kisser on her cheek, he whispers "Goodnight". "Goodnight Max". Max and Isobel turn to leave.
Maria
was sitting on Micheals lap when Max and Isobel pass by them, "we're leaving
now, we'll see you both tomorrow." They
both responded with a casual "Yeah, 'night".
Maria
presses herself closer to Michael.
"Michael do you think maybe we could um… go back to your place and do
what we did last night again?" "What
talk?" Maria gives Michael a playful
slap on the arm, "I mean what we did after we talked" "Ahhh, lets go." He lifts
Maria and throws her over his shoulder, Maria laughs and shouts to Liz, "We're
leaving, see ya tomorrow", she waves to Liz and slaps Michael on the butt, "Let's
go spaceboy."
Liz
laughs at the pair, and locks the door she walks through to the back turning
the lights out as she goes, just as she was about to go through the back door,
she hears a whisper, "Goodnight Liz." Without
turning around she closes the door, and a single tear runs down her cheek and
she whispers back…….
"Goodnight
Alex."
