verse one: Well that Revolution was a crazy war,
That lasted quite a few years.
The Tokugawas fighting the Meijis
Giving common people lots of fears.
Now the war wasn't looking to good,
But the Meijis had a plan.
They brought out their secret weapon,
A samuri known as 'Ol Red.
This samuri was the coldest man
Anybody'd seen.
With his Hiten Mitsurugi style,
He was a red-hair killing machine
All of his intened victims
Always turned up dead.
In all the years that that war lasted
Ain't nobody got past Red!
Chorus: And the Meigis sang,
Come Tokugawas, why don't you come?
Battosai's itching to have a little fun.
Bring your sword and bring your gun
You'll meet your maker 'fore the morning come.
verse two: Well the war went on and Battosai kept killing
Whenever the Meijis said.
And it was know throughout the land
To fear the Battosai man.
After awhile that blood and killing
started to go to his head.
So he vowed when the war was over
He would never kill again.
Chorus two:And the Meijis said,
C'mon Battosai, why won't you kill?
We all know it gives you quite a thrill.
Grab your sword and let's all go
Kill the Tokugawa foe.
verse three:The Meijis were used to using
Battosai like a tool.
But after the war he had to go,
Cus' samuri's threatened their rule.
He made his run when the war was done,
Before the Meijis could take him out.
Lived as a wanderer for ten years,
And never was found out.
Chorus three: And the Meiji's sang,
C'mon Battosai, you can't run.
Now it's our turn to have the fun.
Get our lanterns, get our guns.
We'll have Battosai when the day is done.
end verse: Now they search for Kenshin all over Japan.
They may find the others, but they won't find him.
