A/N: A little short fluff I made. Best to read it with this song: http:// www.youtube. com/ watch?vr 035et3sz5o (backspaces are needed obviously)
The year is 1958, and in a little bar called "The Secret", two lovers danced with Doris Day crooning in the background.
Two males just held each other swinging from side to side. Finding comfort in each other, moments like this made it worth while, worth the sneers, worth the snide remarks, worth the hate. Their love was worth it and more.
Both ex- police members, after all gay bashing police was common, so they left simple as that.
Danny nuzzled his head in Don's neck and Don's grip tightened around his lover's waist.
I love youse were exchanged and sharing a long passionate kiss, while still dancing.
They were ahead of their time, they both knew it, the world will change, but until then they were outcasts, but they were outcasts together, and that's what they are and what they will be together, now and here on out. Besides the world was outside, because there is nothing wrong with what they were doing, ask any priest if love is wrong, they would tell you that it ain't wrong, because if their love was wrong then it wouldn't feel so right, so natural, so perfect.
They weren't going to change for them, the people; they are going to stay, to love. Now and forever, they were sure of it, and that's what he gold band on their fingers represented. They were engaged, that's all they could be to the outside, but they were already married, to them, and that's really all that matters.
The song came to an end and it was now time for them to part ways.
"Say nighty night and kiss me."
"Just hold me tight and tell me you miss me."
Parting ways with a desperate, yet loving kiss.
While I'm alone and as blue as can be dream a little dream of me
Dream a little dream of me.
A/N: How do you like it? If you haven't listened to it with the song, then go back and listen to it, it's beautiful.
