Jen leaned on against the chair with dreaming eyes as she bit the point of her pen. She started beating with her pen against her temple as she bit her bottom lip before her lips turn into a smile. It had passed a month since their first and last date and no, she wasn't counting sneaking into each other's houses and dinner in her office.
As she closed her eyes she could feel his hand grabbing her arm, his chest against hers, his soft breathe against her lips on that cold winter night when they had got back from the dinner that eventually had turned into a date. She could remember the way her lips were drawn to his and how she perfectly fitted in his embrace. What she remembered the most was how his kiss still felt the same and how his hand burned her every place he touched. It was their first kiss in six years but it yet all the emotions were there. But what she remembered vividly was when he let go of her all of a suddenly. Had she miss interpreted the sign? She had thought to herself. She felt twisted and confused. But when he smiled she realized he too wanted it, he wanted her.
Jen woke up from her daydream when the door was suddenly opened and the man of her thoughts was in front of her.
What were you thinking about? – noticing her smile Gibbs asked it as he walked into her direction.
You know, it was a really romantic night. Just the two of us… and my security detail – replied Jen as she put her elbows in the desk.
Well, it's up to you to go without them – he replied as he put his hands on the desk and met her gaze.
