Kyon: That's wrong! Next, on "The disappointment of Haruhi Suzumiya" chapter 1: Band!
"I'm bored!" shouted a voice in the familiar SOS brigade club room. Unsurprisingly, it was none other than Haruhi Suzumiya's. It was near summer vacation and while everybody in the school was planning and discussing about their busy to-be vacation, Haruhi was ranting about her usual boredom. Why do I have to cope with this every day? I'm not your entertainer, Haruhi.
"I'm bored! " she repeated. I heard you the first time, I just don't care.
"Summer vacation is one week from now. Be patient." I tried to shut her up. Attempt failed; I made the situation worse.
"Exactly! Why are we stuck here studying for exams while we could be doing innovative SOS brigade activities! It's essential! It's a requirement!" Haruhi shouted back at me, twitching at every word
By the way, Nagato was sitting in her usual chair, being so quiet that I hadn't even noticed her. Koizumi was engaged in an Othello match with Asahina which was quite a disturbing sight. If he moved an inch closer to her, I'd interfere... And I was just sitting there in a position that made me feel useless, waiting for somebody to say something. I sighed at the other members' lack of reaction.
Haruhi opened her mouth again. "This summer, the SOS brigade is going all out!"
I had plans, or not. Suzumiya seriously didn't expect me to hang out with her and the brigade during the whole summer, right?
Right?
...
That's right, this is a prologue... Heh heh, I like prologues, neee...
And that's also right, Haruhi will always get confused for the chapter numbers, just like in the episodes. I find it great, don't you?
