Kyo sat back and watched Tohru prepare the dessert for the picnic. They were out on a picnic with Yuki and his wife Machi with their children. They all still called her that even though her name had changed… she insisted. Yuki's son, Katsuya, ran after Kyoko and tagged her. Kyoko pouted for a moment at being caught and then ran after him to ensure that she wasn't 'it' for long. Katsuya had his father's eyes and his mother's hair. He also had his mother's sense of cleanliness when it came to organization. Yuki was always after him to clean his room or to at least shut the door so he didn't have to see it. At first, both father's had objected strongly and loudly to allowing their children to play together but then Machi had stepped in and… well… Yuki was more humbled towards the idea after that. All Tohru had to do was pout and Kyo was already driving Kyoko to Katsuya's house. Machi leaned over to Tohru.

"Wouldn't it be cute if the two fell in love?"

Tohru smiled as her answer as she helped Kazuma walk on unsteady feet towards Kyo. Katsuya was a quiet child who took after his mother more than anything. His grandfather bragged to everyone about his namesake and showed of little Kazuma as often as he could. It was adorable. Kyo took Kazuma from Tohru and bounced him on his knee.

"What are you two whispering about?"

Yuki glanced over at them with a curious look and then turned in time to see Katsuya tackle Kyoko.

"Katsuya! What did I say about tackling girls!"

Kyoko raised her head from the ground and glared at Yuki.

"You callin' me a girl!"

Yuki just shook his head as Kyo chuckled. The last time Yuki had made the mistake of mentioning anything girly towards Kyoko, an almost shattered kneecap had happened. Yuki had learned his lesson. He did watch the children though because Kyoko could give punches just as good as Katsuya and all the parents didn't want any broken ribs.

Kyo smiled down at his son as he gurgled at him. "I think it's time for Kyoko to start school soon."

Yuki nodded. "I enrolled Katsuya in kindergarten a few days ago. They're almost booked so if you hurry, you can probably squeeze her in."

Tohru's eyes started to fill. Kyo reached over and took her hand.

"What's wrong?"

She just shook her head.

"I don't want her to leave yet."

Kyo leaned back and handed Kazuma to Tohru.

"You still have Kazzy. And at least then you won't have Kyoko demanding your attention so much. It's more attention to Kazuma that he needs."

Tohru cradled Kazuma and nodded.

"You're right."

Machi looked over at Yuki and they both shared a look. So the impossible DID happen.

"Hey! What are you looking at you stupid rat!"

Maybe not.
