Title: Happy New Year

Summary: Its time to bring in the new year and see what comes of it.

A/N: Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2013 brings you joy and happiness. I did not include Belle and Rumple in this just because I felt that Rumple would have something planned for both him and Belle and wouldn't want to spend time with other couples.

Everyone waited patiently for the clock to strike twelve. Emma and August gazed into each other's eyes, Ruby and Killian were cuddling, and Snow and Charming were telling each other how they take each other. Henry was anxiously looking at the clock which real 11:50 pm.

"Ten more minutes!" He said while clapping his hands.

Everyone smiled at how cute and happy Henry looked.

Emma stared at her only child as she thought of the future they both had ahead. Emma was to marry August in the new year and she couldn't be happier. They were to start the new year as a happy family. But Emma had to get used to being someone's wife. But she knew that August would be a good "father" to Henry.

"Five more minutes!" Henry jumped up and started jumping up and down in excitement.

"The new year is about to begin."

Killian said as he raised his bottle of Rum. The bottle was nearly empty as he took the last sip of his Rum.

"Can you believe that we are about to start over again?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that we are all starting a new chapter in our lives. For example, Ruby and Killian can take their relationship further, Emma and August are getting married, and Charming and I…. well Charming and I are expecting."

Snow grabbed Charming's hand and smiled.

"What?!"

"That's right. Snow and I are going to have a baby."

"You mean… I'm going to have a little brother or sister?" Emma asked.

"Yes Emma. Does that seem weird?"

"No, no. It's not weird. I'm happy for you guys."

To be honest, Emma did think it was a little weird. Emma was twenty- eight years old, the same age as her parents, and now there was a little boy or girl on the way. The age difference would be insane but Emma was happy for her parents. After having no memory of each other for twenty- eight years, it was good they were "catching up".

"I'm going to have a little cousin?" Henry asked his grandparents.

"Yes Henry, you are."

"Cool!"

It was now 11:59 pm and the countdown began.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

Killian cupped Ruby's face in his hands and pushed her lips against his.

"Happy New Year my love."

"Happy New Year." Ruby smiled.

Snow released from the kiss and smiled at the future father of their unborn child.

"Happy New Year Charming!"

"Happy New Year Snow!" Charming put a hand on her stomach. "And happy New Year to you too little one."

Emma looked at her parents and smiled. She then turned back to August and looked into his bright blue eyes.

"Happy New Year August!"

"Happy New Year Emma."

August put his hands around Emma's waste as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Their lips moved closer together as they finally touched.

"Happy New Year!"

Henry runs up to Emma and hugs her tight. Emma broke away from the kiss as she finished the hug Henry started.

"Happy New Year Henry." Emma rubs his back.

Henry released from the hug and hugged August.

"Happy New Year….. Dad."

August looked at Emma. Tears started to dwell in Emma's eyes as Henry called August dad.

Right then and there, Emma knew that the new year was going to be a good year and she couldn't be happier.
