Nico's Guide on How NOT to React to Your First Confession

For a long time Nico didn't know what to do. He was struck dumb by the latter's confession and the way he handled it probably wasn't the best way to react.

'Since when was running away ever even a good way to react to a confession?'

He really didn't expect it. The son of Hades was firmly devout to the belief that the other hated his guts to the core and vise versa.

Sure, Nico saw a few… okay qualities about the guy. He was good-looking and surprisingly generous sometimes.

But, at the end of the day, the guy was a moron. A fucking hot-blooded, bad-tempered, impulsive moron. A complete moron… nothing else.

'And annoying too.'

Right, annoying. How many times had that guy suddenly fucking exploded and went head to head with Nico? A lot, that's how many.

The guy hated Nico. It was pretty obvious to the son of Hades. So why? Was it some sort of prank?

'No, that guy's too sincere and dense to make that kind of joke.'

That's when Nico started thinking. Maybe the guy who just confessed to him had more good points than he originally thought. Sincerity was one. Dependable, he guessed. There was bravery and his hot-bloodedness could be weirdly translated into passion. He was also skillful and a natural leader, more so than himself.

Nico guessed that he was pretty envious of his confessor. He had a natural bout surrounding him, despite having been imprisoned longer than the younger.

Nico sighed and put his face in his pale hands as he leaned against the wall of the fourth floor boys' bathroom.

Okay, so he could think of good things about the confessor but what about him? What qualities did Nico have that made this guy so interested in him? Especially to the point where he actually confessed?!

'So why?'

The boy groaned and his legs slowly gave out as his slid down the wall and into a uncomfortable position on the floor.

The scene of him suddenly losing breath and dashing into a run before the guy could even finish kept replaying over and over. It was a disaster.

'This is NOT the right way to react to a confession.'

Okay so I just noticed the lack of completed stories and decided to do some one-shots. For people confused on what Nico is talking about, this is simply one of the few sneak-peak oneshots of my over 50 chapter story, One Helps Another, which shall be published at the fixed date of June 15, a Sunday!

Basically, this is just to confirm that Nico's recently discovered homosexuality will be gladly addressed ;-)

And no, this is not a PercyXNico story, nor is it a NicoXOC story. The confessor was just a character that was shortly shone in the series.
