Edward Elric walked into the Colonels office one bright sunny day, putting his report onto Mustang's desk and preparing to walk out immediately when he suddenly froze. Everyone in the office, including Riza Hawkeye, had their eyes closed and were all bobbing their heads up and down to the music coming out of their headphones. Then suddenly they all sang out in unison, "WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY!?"

Edward ran out of the office the second they started dancing.

He ran out of HQ and stood in front of it. Moments later, as he had predicted, a loud:

"WHAT DID THE FOX SAY?!" came out of the building as the result of hundreds of people all listening to the same song.

Ed screamed, and took off running again. Every single person was singing that song on the streets. He didn't get it. It wasn't even that catchy anyways. Ed wasn't looking where he was going so he bumped into his brother.

"Alphonse! I finally found you! I've been looking for you and these people keep singing this song that has something to do with foxes!"

Alphonse just nodded, red eyes vacantly looking at the sky. Ed kept ranting until he noticed a small noise coming from his brother.

"Al? Are you humming?"

Ed leaned closer until his ear came in contact with the cool metal of his brothers amour. He finally made out the lyrics. He gasped.

"Al! A-Are you singing that...that thing too?"

Al finally noticed that his brother was clinging to him.

"Oh! Brother! I've been looking for you everywhere!"

Ed leaned back and gave his brother a skeptical look.

"Oh really? 'Cause it doesn't seem like it"

Alphonse wasn't listening because he blanked out again.

"Al. Al. ALPHONSE!"

Al blinked and shook his head, startled. "Yeah?"

Ed sighed, and gave up. He started to drag his brother home. He really did not want to deal with anything right now, so he led his brother all the way into the room they shared in the hotel, flopped onto bed, and went to sleep.

*Yawn*

Ed woke up.

"Wow. That was the weirdest dream."

He hummed as he went around the room, putting on clothes and doing his daily morning stretches. As he lunged down, he noticed something under his bed. It was a CD cover with a huge screaming fox face in the middle. Edward's eyes widened and he started to shake his head in denial.

"No. No! This cannot be happening!"

Alphonse came in and noticed Ed on the ground.

"Oh hello, brother. Are you okay?"

Al leaned down and glanced at what Ed was looking at.

"Oh! It's that song! It's so good! Here! Listen!"

Al leaned down and swiped the CD away from Ed and put it into the CD player.

A few seconds later, the lyrics, "Dog goes woof, cat goes meow, bird goes tweet and mouse goes squeak…"

Ed started to relax a bit, not hearing this part of the song, until later:

"WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY? RING-DING-DING-DING-DINGERINGEDING-!"

A few minutes later, Ed would be admitted into the hospital for traumatization and slight twitching of the limbs.
