A/N: Sorry for not updating in a while, but I've been writing original stuff like crazy. That and it's bad enough I can barely finish those...

This is one of the little idea tid bits that straw honey always sends me but never actually posts -_-

Had an idea to just post it for him, asked for permission, and here I am. He hopes you like (cause I will tell him even the bad shzz). Maybe if this gets enough good vibes he'll start posting again. (wink wink nudge nudge HINT HINT)

In other words, it's all his. I just paste and edit typos.

Nami and Nojiko are sweeping the street outside their mother's house, Nojiko tells her sister that Luffy will be at the bull run that day.

"Ehh!? ... I mean, why should I care!? I don't even know where it's gonna be held..."

"Who knows Nami, maybe he will run right into you, sweep you off your feet like the knight he is."

"He isn't a knight, he's an idiot! And besides I'm not easy, I'm only going to marry that foul if h-!"

"Oi! Nami!"

"Eek!"

Nojiko watches the flustered fall and picturesk reaction, "have fun Nami!"

"We got to get going!" Luffy yelled, yanking her by the hand as they ran away.

"You stupid idiot!"

"Shishishishi! Who are you calling stupid? Your the dummy who got in my way!"

"Ease up on your grip!"

"I can't!" Luffy wrapped his arm around her before lifting her off the ground. "Last person to stay in front of them gets all the meat!"

"Baka!" She grimaced at his lustful gaze for steaming food. And here I thought I was getting cast away by ...

"Oi, Nami."

"Yes?"

"Don't worry. I won't let anything ever happen to you," his childish, yet sincere, grin caught her eyes.

"Idiot, I know that!" she yelled, before hiding her eyes behind the cover of her thick orange hair.

"I feel like you would probably be more mad at me, Nami!"

"Yeah but ... it's nice being held like this ... only if it's just this once ..."

"If you want, Nami, we can do this when ever you want."

"Huh? Really!? So that means you-!"

"MEAT!" No one remained on the road except for the two of them, and the army of angry bulls. Thinking on the spot, Luffy pivoted to the side, pressing her against the wall as the bulls rushed by.

"Thank you Nami!"

"What for?"

"Well I wouldn't have been able to do it without you!"

"What do you mean? You ran the whole way here."

"No, Nami. You saved me more times then not. I didn't know if I was even going to get here, but with you by my side, I knew I would never be lost!"

"Nami will you stay by my side? I don't know anyone else and I don't want anyone else but you."

"Luffy ..." A sudden rush of emotion covered her body, her mouth and eyes ablaze. "I think you're the only idiot I ever wanted ... so ... of course I would!"

"Besides," she turned her head over her shoulder, "why did you even ask? You know I was gonna get my way either way."

"Shishishishi! Sure Nami." Two generous grins and a lifetime of love and adventure accompanied the two for years to come.
