Frasier Crane has the most popular radio show in Seattle. Most of his callers are ordinary people, not celebrities. Occasionally he gets a celebrity caller (in reality the callers are all voiced by celebrities). This is the story of a celeb who has had enough of a rival trying to steal his girlfriend. Takes place in early 2002 (during season 9).
I don't own Frasier (CBS does) or Super SmashBros. (Nintendo does).
Link was one of the most popular Nintendo characters ever. He was so popular that he was a part of Super Smash Bros., a fighting competition between Nintendo characters. For two years he was the only swordsman in the competition.
He was joined by Marth and Roy in 2001. And the higher-ups thought it was a good idea to have a rivalry between Link and Marth, so they arranged for Marth to sleep with Link's girlfriend, Princess Zelda of Hyrule (who also joined the competition in 2001).
When Link found out, naturally, he was incensed. Over the next couple months, Marth and Link got into a war of words as Marth tried to steal Zelda away from Link. By April 2002, Link had had enough.
Link needed advice from someone on how to deal with the rivalry. He trusted only one person – Dr. Frasier Crane. Dr. Crane's radio show, The Dr. Frasier Crane Show, was the highest-rated show in Seattle, Washington for almost a decade. He gave advice on how to deal with problems in life.
Link thought he could get the final word from Dr. Crane, so in April 2002 he called into the show. Let's take a look at how it went down.
Frasier answered the phone, and said "hello, this is Dr. Frasier Crane, I'm listening..."
Link said, "hello, Dr. Crane, I have a real big problem, my roommate has been trying to steal my girlfriend for four months now. We have been at it for so long I'm tired of it. He's a swordsman like me, and you know I hate rival swordsman."
Frasier said, "I think I know who I am speaking to. Are you Link of Hyrule?" Link said, "yes I am." Frasier said, "I've read all about your rivalry with Marth and your little competition for Zelda. I think you two should duel for the heart of Zelda."
Link said, "why didn't I think of that before? Thank you Dr. Crane."
Frasier said, "nice talking to you Link. Let me know how the duel goes."
After that, Link and Marth had a duel for the ages. Link eventually won, but to this day he and Marth are still rivals. Link has also entered into feuds with Roy, Ike, and Meta Knight.
THE END.
So how about that? R&R please.
