How Davis met Kari
Kari was walking over to her friend, Yolei's house. As she crossed the bridge, she saw a boy eating ice cream. She snuck over to him and yelled, "HI!" right in his ear. He screamed and fell into the water. Kari laughed when she saw him fall in, but when he dumped water on her, she stopped pretty fast. They both stared at each other and burst out laughing. The boy said, "Hi! I'm Davis. Who are you?" "I'm Kari. Nice to meet you!" "Want to go get some ice-cream? My friend Ken was supposed to come, but he forgot." "All right!" Davis and Kari walked off together to the ice cream shop. Davis ordered a chocolate chip cone and asked Kari, "Do you want Oreo ice-cream? You look like someone who loves that kind." Kari was surprised because it was her absolute favorite kind. She said, "Sure! It's my favorite!"
Later Kari and Davis were in the park. Davis had found a chest with some thing in it yesterday and wanted to show Kari. Kari had an old key that she got from her grandmother. They used it to open up the chest. What they found inside was two digieggs! The hatched into digimon as soon as they were touched. The digimon ate what was left and digivolved into demiveemon and nearomon. "Hi! We're your digimon! Nice to meet you!" Davis and Kari fell over with surprise. They said, "What are digimon?" Demiveemon replied, "We're creatures from the digital world. That's a place you can get to from computers." "We have your digivices and crests! Here you go!" nearomon said when she gave them to them. "Do you want to go there now?" "Sure!" Davis said. "I'll go too!" Kari said right after Davis. They went over to Kari's house and used her computer.
When they got to the digiworld, they were in primary village. They met elecmon and looked around. Suddenly, a black shadow passed over them and began attacking. Demiveemon and nearomon digivolved to bladeveemon and angewomon. They still were unable to defeat it. The shadow shot a blast of dark energy at Davis and Kari. Davis tried to block the attack but it hit him and Kari. Somehow, they survived. But they had been turned into armored adults. They attacked the shadow and destroyed it easily. Then, "It is too soon to fufill the prophecy." "Too true. We must wait until the great evil appears." "We will return to our original forms and lose our memory."
They began to glow and soon were normal kids again. They had fallen asleep and were transported into Kari's room. Tai came in when he heard that noise. He saw Davis and Kari sleeping together. He was surprised and shut the door.
Davis slept over at Kari's house that night and in the morning, they had pancakes. Their digivices had disappeared, and they did not remember what had happened the day before. Their digimon had turned into digieggs again and were in the digiworld. They didn't know it, but their friendship and love for each other would determine the fate of the digiworld.
