Beaten

Two beings danced gracefully on the smooth ice, Viktor and Yuri. Earlier endeavors had been resolved, and quite frankly forgotten, kind of. But Viktors excitement soon vanished as he spotted two figures within the crowd. Two figures at which he wished never existed. He was then happy that the routine would end very soon, so he could get out of this now god-forsaken room.

The two skaters were on their way to leave the building, when a sharp pain erupted in the silver haireds back. Whatever had knocked into him had enough force to throw him to the ground.

"You worthless piece of shit!" a man shouted.

Yuri ran in front of him, and blocked him and a lady from getting to Viktor, "Don't you dare hurt him!" he shouted.

"Get out the way, kid!" the man, pushed the raven haired to the side, causing Yuri to stumble. Luckily Viktor had had enough time to scramble to his feet and run to the wall opposite of them, crying. The security came rushing in and escorted the two attackers out of the room. Yuri ran to Viktors side, where he walked along side him to the hotel.

The two sat down on the soft bed, the crying boy leaning his head on the others chest, comforted by the slow rythmetic beat. Viktor cried himself to sleep; Yuri rubbing his back tenderly.

Hours passed, the only sound in the silent room was that of Viktors soft breathing. Yuri just stared down at the sleeping figure, finding him to be kind of cute. Yuri looked up to check the time, but looked down when he felt something shifting at his chest.

Chocolate brown eyes met a soft blue pair, "Yuri?" his voice soft and shaky.

"Yeah?" Yuri asked tenderly.

A moment of silence passed between the two before an almost inaudible reply came, "Protect me."

Yuri pulled Viktors head up, allowing for a quick peck on the others soft lips, before quickly pulling back, "I'll protect you, I'll alway's protect you."

Viktor relaxed into Yuri's hand, "Yuri?"

"Yes, Viktor?"

"Never let mother or father near me ever again," Viktor's eyes shown with unshed tears.

Yuri was shocked, "Wait! Those were your parents!?"

The sleepy boy whimpered before nodding, "They beat me till I was able to move out, I toke on ice skating as a form a coping, I've alway's loved doing it, it was the one thing at first that made me happy, now I have you as well."

"I'll never let them near you, you've never deserved it," as Yuri said this, he subconsciously pulled Viktor closer to him.

"Arigato."

"Your welcome," Yuri would wait for a better time to ask how Viktor learned to say that, as

Right now, all that mattered was
Viktor
