This is just a repost of my original oneshot. I edited a few things, but it is pretty much the same. Basically, it is a short and sweet look at Rory and Jess' wedding day. No real story behind it, it's just the picture I had in my head. However, it could be a prequel to a story if enough people wish it to be (hint, hint). Please give me your ideas and tell me what you think!

The day had finally come. It was the happy ending they had both deserved and waited for. After all the years of separation, of happiness and pain, they finally found their way back to each other, and today they would seal their love before all of their family and friends.

Stars Hollow was beautifully decorated for the special occasion. The first snow of the season gave it a fairy tale like feeling that every little girl dreamed her special day to have. There had been a big debate over where the ceremony would take place. Her grandparents, of course, had wanted their only granddaughter to be married somewhere of their own picking, but there was never any doubt in Rory's mind that she wanted to get married in her hometown and nobody could convince her otherwise.

Where exactly in the town should the wedding be? Under the gazebo maybe, like her mother and Luke had done two years ago. Or maybe at the church. Even under her mothers chuppah would be a good spot. But in the end Rory and her fiancé chose the one spot in the town that had the most memories for them. It was the spot where they got started all those years ago, the spot where he got down on one knee and proposed to her nearly one year ago.

It was the old bridge. And the old bridge was currently light up with hundreds of white lights, adding on the already fairy tale like appearance of the town. The minister was waiting at the end, along with Jess and his best men Chris and Matt. Anxiously, Jess would look down the makeshift aisle every moment or so, his heart beating wildly waiting for the ceremony to start.

The townspeople lined the sides of the bridge and on the bank, all eager to see their town princess marry the ex hoodlum. There had been many protests about having the wedding on the bridge(namely Taylor) since it was so inconvenient. But they made it work.

Finally it started. Lane and Paris made their way down the aisle, both having been chosen as Rory's matrons of honor. Paris and Rory had kept in touch after graduating from Yale and remained good friends, something neither one of them would have expected back in high school. Then came the two ring bearers, Steve and Kwan, followed by Martha, the flower girl, and then the moment Jess had been waiting for.

Rory looked like an angel dressed in white, her dark hair curled and framing her face. Her blue eyes sparkled as they met Jess' dark ones and she had a bright smile on her face. She was escorted on either side by her mother and stepfather, but she never took her eyes off of her soon-to-be husbands. When she made her way to him and her hand found its way into his, tears swelled up in her eyes she was so overwhelmed with happiness. Jess just smiled and not being able to resist, silently, and confidently, mouthed those beautiful words that had once been too hard for him to say, 'I love you'. She mouthed them back smiling before they turned to the minister. There was no doubt in either of their minds that this was what they had been waiting for. All the hardships and struggles brought them to this moment and it was all worth it. They were ready for their happy ending.
