Information Retrieval
After a long day in Castle Oblivion, the Nobody Vexen had finished his new project: the Riku Replica. The replica, an identical copy of the 15 year old Riku looked smugly at his creator. Vexen was about to give the replica orders when his colleague, Lexeaus entered the laboratory.
"The project is finished?" he asked Vexen.
Vexen was about to reply when a siren began blaring loudly.
Looking over at the replica, Vexen said, "Now, with your amazing new programming, I want you to go and investigate that sound."
The Riku replica looked at him confused, saying, "But, it's just a police siren."
Angered by the replica's "defiance", Vexen yelled, "Do as I say!"
The "new programming" was a program that caused for the replica to follow Vexen's direct orders without question. With its eyes glowing red, it yelled, "Yes sir!"
It then sprinted in the direction of the siren.
In the 2nd floor library of Castle Oblivion…
Zexion, minding his own business and reading his lexicon, was surprised to see Axel enter the library. He was holding a boom box and Zexion knew something bad was going to happen. Larxene, who was sitting and reading her favorite book ("How to kill your Boss with 20 Easy Steps") looked at the boom box and said, "Uh, Axel, it's a little late to be carrying a boom box around."
"So?" Axel said, not caring.
"Um, but why, pray tell, are you carrying a boom box?" Zexion asked.
"I wanted to try something out," Axel innocently said, knowing what was going to happen next.
He turned on the boom box and turned the volume at its highest. The theme song to "Cops" began playing.
"Bad boys, what'cha gonna…What'cha gonna do-oo-oo!" Axel started singing, much to the other two Nobodies' dismay.
The siren from the theme started to blare and Axel kept singing. Larxene covered her ears to drown out the noise. Zexion began hitting his head on his lexicon in an attempt to knock himself unconscious. After a few minutes of Axel's horrible singing, the two could've sworn they heard the library door fall down. Axel, hearing this, immediately turned off the boom box and looked in the direction of the library door. What they saw was the Riku replica…with red eyes.
'Oh no,' was all Axel could think.
"Ah, it's the replica. I thought it was Marluxia," Zexion said, somewhat relieved.
That "feeling" (as Nobodies can only mimic feelings) went away as soon as the replica yelled, "Ready? Ready!"
The replica turned into its Dark mode and lunged at Axel, Soul Eater at the ready. Axel dodged out of the way. Since the target moved out of the way, the replica accidentally aimed for Zexion.
"Aah!" was all Zexion could scream before he was punched in the face by the replica.
Zexion was sent flying into several bookshelves and knocked each one down in the process.
Once Zexion had landed in a large pile of books, Vexen and Lexeaus (who heard the commotion), entered the room. When Vexen saw the destroyed library, he grabbed the replica by the collar and yelled, "Replica, what have you done? This isn't information retrieval! Are you insane?"
Zexion got out of the pile of books and was gravely injured.
"Ow, all my bones…jammed up into my neck…Ow," was all Zexion could say before falling unconscious.
Larxene, seeing this and not helping the poor Nobody, began doubling over with laughter.
The Riku replica, proud of what it did, looked at Vexen and said, "I've captured the enemy for 'meat testing'. So, praise me! Praise me!"
Needless to say, Vexen had to reprogram the replica so it wouldn't attack fellow Organization members
This was something I thought of after watching a Hellsing/Invader Zim mash-up video on Youtube about "Information Retrieval". I couldn't help myself. I had to write it XD
