Chapter 1
Desmond Miles wasn't prepared for what he was about to do….. And he knew that it wasn't going to get him anywhere if he did it. It all started when he woke up from a trip back into time from the animus. "Leave me alone please Desmond." said Shaun Hastings. Desmond replied "What's your problem Shaun? You can't date Rebecca?" Shaun just got up and left without saying a word or doing a gesture towards Desmond. Lucy asked Desmond why did he say that to Shaun and Desmond replied "Well he shouldn't have messed with me." Desmond then left for downstairs. When he got downstairs he saw his Camaro wasn't parked in the spot he left it in the night before. He yelled SHAUN! And Shaun came down quickly as he could. Desmond pointed at his car and said "Did you take my car somewhere?" Shaun told him that he had to do some errands, but Desmond wasn't listening. Desmond yelled "Get Back Inside!" Shaun went back inside and Desmond got into his car and drove off. Meanwhile back at the base… William Miles messaged in saying that no reports of Abstergo agents were found. Now that Desmond was somewhere unknown he could be a target for undercover agents. Just as Rebecca turned on the TV… on the news was a yellow car with black stripes being chased by the SWAT and police. A helicopter was in the sky also in pursuit of the vehicle! They caught a glimpse of the license plate number. It was Desmond! They all wondered why Desmond would be chased down. Just then a barricade of police cars were coming up until… Desmond took a turn into a path into a forest.
