Footsteps hit the tile, echoing through the corridor.
"Don't come one step closer." The celestial mage pointed her gate key at Natsu, tears streaming down her face. The fire wizard stopped short of Lucy.
"You wouldn't do it." He crossed his arms and glared and the blonde.
"Natsu! Please! I-I have to!"
"We're your friends! Why are you doing this?!" His anger shone through his voice.
"I-I-I'm s-sorry." A bright light flashed and she was gone.
"Dammit!" Natsu ran to the spot she vanished. His face softened. "She'll pay for this with her life." He said sadly.
