The curse had now been broken. Emma had done it, something Regina had doubted Emma would be able to do. However the curse didn't matter to her anymore. Nothing like that mattered to her anymore. In secret she had never given up. She had never given up looking for that one person who could get close to her, who was close to her.
As she walked around storybrooke seeing so many finding friends and family she studied the crowds. She needed to find her. She had hoped to find her since this whole thing started. She could kill Rumplestiltskin for this. He said she wouldn't lose her. He said she would be able to find her. This curse was suppose to be the new start that she needed and wanted yet it had started all wrong. She had lost the one person she wanted to share her new start with.
She began to panic a little as there was no sign of her. She pushed past everyone not caring that they were angry at her about the curse. Not caring what they were saying to her or what they were calling her. They were not important to her, nor had they ever been. Tears began to brim in her eyes as she could see no hope of finding her. Maybe she really didn't make it through with them when the curse broke out. Maybe she left her behind. She shook her head. No she couldn't believe it. She didn't want to believe it. She wouldn't do that to her.
She began to march over to Gold's shop. She needed answers and she knew he would have them. Throwing the door open, she stomped into the shop eyes on his. "Where is she?" Regina demanded.
"I'm sorry deary, where is who?" Mr Gold replied smugly. He knew who she was talking about but he liked to make things hard for Regina.
"You know exactly who I am talking about Gold. Where is she?!" Regina's voice rose with every word. She wasn't in the mood for his games today. She wanted answers. "You told me she would be here. You told me I would find her!"
"If you would care to remember rightly I said there would be a chance you could find her once the curse was broken I never said you would find her."
Regina couldn't think what to say. Anger was taking over her. She hated that man. She would kill him if the thought of probably needing him at some point wasn't in the way. She turned on her heel and stomped out of his shop slamming the door behind her. She walked and walked and walked not knowing where she was going. Tears were now flowing down her cheeks. She couldn't stop them, no matter how hard she tried. She found herself as her mausoleum, sitting on the steps she let out a big sob. Things never seemed to go her way. She done everything she could to try and get what she wanted but things never turned out that way. She was frustrated and sick of how things kept turning out. It wasn't fair.
"Regina?"
She jumped as she heard a voice call her name. Looking up she saw someone who she really didn't want to see.
"What do you want?" She snapped wiping the tears from her face.
"You okay?" Emma asked. She hadn't ever seen Regina look so, for lack of a better word sad. Her question was genuine even if she didn't really care for the woman.
"What would you care?" Regina snapped back at her.
Emma rolled her eyes. "Listen I'm not here to fight with you. Well for once." Emma said, saying the last part under her breath. "You know talking can help…A problem shared and all."
Regina looked up at Emma. She thought about things for a moment. This was the saviour in front of her perhaps she could use her to her advantage and get what she wanted once more. Use her for what she wanted and then leave her for...well she didn't matter what happened to her afterwards as long as she got what she wanted.
"I can't find someone…" Regina started.
"Who?" Emma asked sitting beside her on the step.
"My daughter. I can't find my daughter."
