AN: This is just a teaser to a fic that I'm thinking of trying out, let me know what you think! ^_^

Sakura panted heavily, her clothes were ripped and she had minor scrapes and bruises in over a dozen places on her body. She clutched her kunai warily as she looked around for the enemy, she turned sharply as she heard a twig snap almost imperceptibly a few metres behind her. "I've got you!", she yelled, flinging her kunai where she estimated her quarry would be. The kunai sailed quickly and with deadly accuracy right into the trunk of a tree. The young kunoichi had just enough time to wonder if she had been tricked before her intuition had her turning around to see the mad gleam in the eyes of her opponent.

"WHO WAS IT THAT YOU HAD!??" Mocked Naruto menacingly as he charged toward her with incredible speed. Quickly getting her bearings, Sakura pushed as much chakra to her feet as she could in order to leap backwards enough to put some space between herself and the enemy, it didn't work, but at least she had a moment before the asshole was on her.

With a single, deft movement of one hand, the girl flicked open her hip pouch and pulled out three smoke bombs along with a single exploding tag. Wasting no time she hurled her smoke bombs in front of her and began tying the tag around the hilt of her last kunai as she attempted to make good her escape. The kunoichi had just managed to get out of the cloud of smoke and began to make a break for the more dense forest when she felt a spine tingling fear course through her, spinning around she just barely managed to spot the sinister, blonde figure with a maniacal grin exiting the smoke screen.

The look on the males face was the look of a cat (or in this case, a fox) who has finished toying with it's prey and is moving in for the kill. With a gleeful laugh, Naruto closed in on his pink haired prize, expertly moving his head to the side just in time to dodge a kunai aimed for the space between his eyes as he menacingly repeated Sakura's earlier statemeant.

"I've got you! Sa..ku..ra...CHAN!!"

A small smirk appeared on the girls face as she turned all the way around the face her tormentor.

"Who was it that you had?" She calmly threw the boys words back at him, raising her hand in a seal that was all to familiar to every ninja..especially the dead ones. "Kai!"

Naruto didn't even have time to appreciate how perfectly Sakura had timed her atack, the tag was out of his range of sight yet still within easy killing distance, before the heat of the explosion washed over him.

The tag Sakura had activated was the most powerful one she carried and she had actually thought she was over doing it a bit when she had made the decision to keep such a high-potency explosive on her person. The kunoichi silenty thanked whatever god had inspired her to do it anyways as the force and heat of the explosion propelled her hasitly backward and rather painfully into a tree, she quickly raised her arms over her face to protect herself from the heat and flying debris flying at her in the blast's wake.

Suddenly there was a complete silence which overtook the forest, unsheilding her eyes Sakura was able to appreciate just how large a blast her atack had made, trees were uprooted and there was a one-foot wide crater at the point of detonation, not bad considering the projectile had been four feet in the air and traveling horizonatally when it had exploded. Gazing at the devastation and noticing the complete lack of a certain blonde bastard, the young kunoichi began to wonder if she had perhaps over done it.

The thought had just entered her mind when she heard four of her absolute least favorite words:

"Tajou kage bunshin no juistu!!"
