Hey, there! Bryt here! So, I just watched Bridge To Terabithia and totally bawled my eyes out. I think that movie (and book) is so touching and always I find different reasons to cry. But they always fit in with the movie.

So, near the end, I just had these thoughts in Jess's point of view and I had to write it down. So I did and here's what I came up with. A poem in Jess's point of view about Leslie. Here ya go. I don't think it rythmes perfectly, but it just had to be written.

I didn't fit it

But neither did she

We both were different

Whether or not we wanted to be

-

The stick of gum

Sealed our destiny

Together we went

Becoming escapees

-

Swinging across the creek

To our own little world

Seeing with our imaginations

Ignoring reality

-

We didn't fit in

But we didn't care

We had each other

What more was there?

-

She made me see

What I thought wasn't there

She gave me hope

To see something better

-

Our differences became the same

We thought alike

She was my other half

While I was hers

-

They said she was dead

It couldn't be

She was here,

Wasn't she?

-

It didn't seem right

She dying,

Me living

That's not how it's supposed to be

-

I couldn't let go

I wouldn't forget

She was with me still

I could feel her with me

-

Reality crashed into my world

Thinking it was my fault

Saying "I let her die,"

My dad brought me out

-

I'll never forget her

She'll never really die

She was my other half

She's in my memory

-

I made our world

Turn real

I made it all come true

Because of her

-

I wish it hadn't ever changed

Just me

Just you

Bringing our worlds together

It makes me sad, not quite crying. But I hope I brought out what I wanted to. I hope you enjoyed it and please let me know!

Please leave a review, I want it to know if it made you sad too.
