It was dark and rainy, and here she was running through the mud in a pair of jeans and a tank top… barefoot… great… As if being chased by those kidnappers' wasn't enough. Then she saw a pair of headlights, they were coming on fast, her eyes widened then she quickly leaped out of the way.

"Jesus, Bo! Did you see that?" "I sure did cousin," Bo slammed on the breaks and the General Lee ground to a halt. "Was that…" "Yup…" What the Duke boys' saw was a tall red-head who was soaking wet, clothes plastered to her body; she looked terrified.

By now, April could see that these people were at least not the kidnappers. She cautiously crept up to the car as the driver and passenger climbed halfway out of the window, as she got closer she noticed the Confederate Flag on the roof, and the words "General Lee" printed beside in blue. Ah, these looked like her kind of guys. "Uh, Miss why are you out on the road in the pouring rain?" the blond asked. "Now Bo, is that anyway to talk to a purty little girl?" the darker headed one asked. "Uhhhh…" Bo said, obviously confused. "That's ok." April intervened, "I don't care if you call me an ugly yankee, just please get me to a phone somewhere." One corner of Bo's mouth went up when he heard her husky voice turn to a flat-out growl as she said the word yankee. "All right little lady, climb in, do you need some… help?". He dropped off seeing that she was already climbing in the window. "Uh… ok…" he stammered, silently pleased that she wasn't dumb like some, who tried the handle and were baffled that it was stuck. Once she was in the backseat of the General Lee she let herself relax a little. "I take that back," she said quietly, and when the two men looked at her questioningly she finished; "I would resent being called a yankee." Both guys laughed, and Bo blew the horn which, to April's delight played Dixie. Bo grinned when he saw her eyes light up in pleasure. "Well, I know your name's Bo," she said, pointing a thumb at him, "but what's your name," she asked inclining her head towards the dark headed man. " My name's Luke," he said, "pleased to meet you." "I assure you, I am much more happy to meet you." She said laughing. "Um, pardon me for asking, I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but where are ya'll takin' me?" she asked. "To our farm." Luke replied. "Don't even act like you don't wanna stay," Bo said when he saw her eyes widen as she worried her lower lip even more, " there ain't no way we're turnin' you out on a night like this." She just bit her lip and smiled shyly.
