"When do you think Grell will wake up?"
"It's hard to say. This was very extensive it might be a long while before those eyes open."
Grell slowly opened his eyes. Grabbing his glasses he looked to find the source of his waking voices. He found Ronald and William sitting next to his hospital bed.
"Sutcliffe-senpai! How do you feel?" Ronald asked eagerly.
"I-I feel. . ." Grell looked at his body. "Different."
"Well duh! But is it a good different or. . .?"
"Well it's definitely a good different. I would feel worse if i hadn't done it. But it's going to take a lot of getting used to. . . being a woman." Grell's eyes widened as the full force of it all just hit him. "I-I cant believe it. . . I'm finally a woman." He said tears of joy slowly dripping down his face.
"We are all happy for you Sutcliffe-senpai." Ronald said smiling. "And you need to get out of here soon 'cause i got a surprise for you."
"Ronald Knox. Would you be so kind as to give me a few minutes to speak with Grell alone?" Ronald nodded and left. Once the door was closed Will sighed.
"Grell. . . I would hate to have to tell you this, especially since you're so happy about your decision. But you cant be a reaper anymore."
"Wh-what but I thought. . . wasn't it okay?"
"Grell, you know how it is. there are no female reapers. I wish it didn't have to be this way but there's nothing I can do. Believe it or not I already tried. I'm sorry." Will stood up and left, not looking back to see Grell's tear streaked face.
A week after that Grell got out the hospital. She had just finished pulling on her signature red coat when Ronald ran up and practically threw a box in her face.
"What's this?" Grell asked as she stared to unwrap it.
"I told you I got you a present didn't I?"
"Oh my gosh, Ronald. I-It's beautiful." Grell said lifting the crimson dress from its box.
"I knew you'd like it." Grell was just about to put it back when he noticed a smaller box inside. She pulled it out and found red and black Stiletto shoes. Grell gasped and hugged Ronald tightly.
"Thank you so much Ronald, I love them." Grell released Ronald and started to head away from the hospital.
"Hey Grell, why don't I walk you home?" Ronald said chasing her down.
"Oh, I'm not going home just yet. A new me demands a new look. I'm going to the salon." Grell said smiling.
"Oh well in that case, I'll see you later then." Ronald left and Grell went to get her long locks lopped off.
Well that's all I got for now. I'm willing to take suggestions on where to go from here. I do know that theres a strong chance of a pregnancy in the future but with who is going to be a mystery. .
