"Yukina-Chan, is mommy and daddy in heaven or hell?" Akira asked his young cousin who was playing with her new kitten Romen. She looked up in surprise then her same dull glaring eyes softened.
"Anita, was anti and uncle good people?" She was going to teach him to answer that question himself. The young boy pondered for a minute then replied "Well I think thay where. So does this mean yes?" Yukina nodded
The boy cheered up and smiled brightly "Yukina-Chan, do you want some sweet bun bread?" He leaped up and stretched out The younger girl sighed "Yes, but can you make it strawberry flavored? I don't like the lemon kind." She also got up and grabbed her stuffy and sat down in a preschooler chair.
"Sure! I'll be back!" The small boy ran till he reached the sweet bun breads food tray than ran back.
He smiled and ate his bread and watched his dear cousin eat her bun bread. He knew he couldn't lose her ever.
8 years later...
Yukina sat down and sighed loudly. A male figure moved in to sight however this wasn't the presents of Akira her cousin, but Shigure her boyfriend. It been 1 week since the brake up between her and Akira. He was heart broken, but still remained his cheerful self. Yukina knew better though. "You should talk to him." Shigure said wrapping his arms around her. Yukina looked up in to the brown eyes of her lover. She knew she loved him and he loved her. "I know, he's been this way forever. I have to make him feel better." Shigure smiled and kissed her forehead. Yukina blushed and smiled
Yukina made her way to the gate that her and Akira use to sit for lunch. She saw the figure of her beloved cousin sitting there. She walked over and sat beside the boy. He looked over and propped his head on his knee.
"What's up Yukina?" He asked ordinary Yukina placed her hand on his head and slowly ruffled it. His eyes widened and soon it was filled with teary sadness. He knew she was on to him.
"Yukina-Chan, will you tell me a story?" He asked like a kid Yukina nodded and leaned back on her elbows and told the boy his story "Once upon a time, there was a crybaby named Akira." Akira laughed and and said "I'm not a crybaby." He smiled she looked at him and with a pout lime sigh she said "I didn't say you are him." She continued the story " and he ate alot." Thay both giggled and Akira answered "So it is me!" Thay stayed there and enjoyed their cousin time.
In the distance behind a fence stood Shigure smiling and watching as his precious Yukina bonded with her cousin. The boy smiled and left the two alone.
