Hope started towards the bus. She wanted to go home already. Who knew field trips could be so deadly? Deadly boring, that is. "Hey Hope, over here! Why are ya cowering away already? The real fun is over here!" A boy behind her said, causing his friends to snicker. Hope rolled her eyes at him. Idiots, she thought.
"Helllo, miss Hope." Her upper class-man mocked. "Hello, Kelli. What do you want?" she sighed. She did not have time for stuff like this. A weird feeling at the back of her mind thought, Run! Run now! , she shooed the feeling away, though. All of a sudden, she felt a pain at the small of her back.
"Aaaaahhhhhh!" she screamed, feeling Kelli's fangs (whaaat?) sinking into her skin.
"Hey! Hey, you! Come here! I'm tasty!" A boy in the other section taunted Kelli, which made no sense at all. Kelli staggered over to him with her snake-and-elephant legs, giving Hope enough time to look at the boy's furry farm-animal legs, Kelli's legs, and also, time to think, This absolutely makes no sense.
Then she crumpled down on her knees.

Hope's eyes fluttered open, taking in her surroundings. She was in a beautiful room, lying on a comfortable couch, with a drink in her hands. She brought it up to her mouth, and sipped. Hmm, strawberries. She thought, tasting her favourite food. "Hi." A boy said behind her. It was the boy from earlier, the one with furry legs. Except this time he was wearing jogging pants.
"You?", she asked, confused, "W-why did you have furry legs? And where am I? Why did Kelli turn into a…a…." she said, unable to name whatever Kelli had become. Thankfully, he answered. His answer was just as confusing, however. "Chiron o-or Mr. D will tell you. Bye." He stuttered, scampering out of the room.
"Wait!" Hope shouted, though she was too late. She tried to stand, but she was too weak. So she had no choice but to lie down on the couch, waiting and waiting, for what, she wasn't sure.
