Fairy tales came true in ignorance. She could have believed forever in him, and now he had to believe in her.
No time passed for Utena. She combined Dios and Akio—Dios of Light, Dios of Dark—in one body. All these years she embraced her veiled fate. She had hoped to repay her prince's kindness and rescue him.
In Dios's world, only princesses needed saving, so she had saved Anthy, the one who first preserved Dios as much as possible.
No regrets, she no longer worried to be with her prince. She could not even know Touga's heartbreak.
If Dios lamented one body, then he could at least take comfort in two hearts—his own and Utena's.
She was a new body for him. She kept her nobility and honor. Though her life was forfeited long ago, she lived on borrowed time to save him.
She had no regrets.
