Lien entered her house, absolutely exhausted.

It certainly wasn't easy being her.

She was startled by the sight of white lilies wrapped up together on the kitchen table.

Lien smiled as she saw them, and she picked them up to catch a whiff of their beautiful scent.

She was startled by a note falling down from the bouquet.

'You are more beautiful than you realize, my dear.' It read in an elegant script that could only belong to her husband.

She smiled again as she went outside to find him tending to their garden; truthfully, it was mostly just her husband's.

Lien Vargas watched her husband, Feliciano, work in the garden; there almost always seemed to be a positive and cheerful air about him no matter what he was doing.

She smiled, "Are you my secret admirer?"

"Oh? Si." Feliciano beamed as he came up to her, and wrapped her up in his arms.

He kissed her when he finally had her in his arms.

She rolled her eyes at him and his silly antics that always caught her attention and heart.

Lien kissed him back, savoring the joy that he brought to her life; she had had a bad day at work that day only to come home to her goofball of a husband who had never failed to bring a smile to her face.

She had never been much of a smiler in fact you could argue that she hadn't known how to smile yet her husband seemed to make her smile with ease.

He was much more than she deserved or at least she felt that way.

Lien relaxed against him.

She wondered for the millionth time what he saw in herself that made him want to stay, and keep loving her.

She knew that he would always be her better half as he was the one that everyone loved.

Lien was stronger, but that hadn't been the reason that he stayed as she was more than his shield to him that much she was aware of.

"Ti amo, Li.'" He practically sang to her.

"I love you too." She murmured back.
